Having trouble playing QuickTime clips.

I can't seem to get these clips to play.

It's just these clips though, everything else is playing just fine. Do they work for you guys? Or are they just dead?

I have the latest version of QuickTime (7.1).

Not working for me. I'm on a Mac with Quicktime 7.1.0 (Software Update says that latest version is 7.1.2). I'll update OS X and Quicktime later and see if it works.

That would be my guess. BTW, did you watch 'Guests of the Ayatollah' on Discovery? I didn't get a chance to see it.

Now I wish those videos worked.

No, I only found this page a few days ago. If I had known, I would’ve caught it for sure. I’ll probably pick up the book sometime this week, though.

I’ve read Beckwith's and Haney's account of the crisis, but they were pretty brief. The books were more about the Delta unit itself (its formation, training, etc.) and the actual operation to rescue those hostages, not what happened before or after the crisis.

It would’ve been interesting to hear what the men who were there had to say, but too bad those videos don’t work. 👎
