Headphone Setup Assistance

Trying to keep the volume down for the wife. Is it possible to use the Sony Pulse Elite Headset and the ButtKicker Gamer 2 at the same time? I currently have the ButtKicker set up with my Logitech Z623 and the audio split to multiple sources on the PS3. However, when I turn on the Headset is automatically disables the other audio outputs on the PS3. The only option I can think of is to plug the headset into the headphone jack on the Z623 but I would like to be able to use the headset wirelessly if possible. Any recommendations?
 
I am not familiar with your set up but I can accomplish what you want on my set up. I split the audio for the tactile output using the AV plug on the PS3. The regular audio/video is fed to my 7.1 Yamaha AV Amplifier via the HDMI cable. The Yamaha has an output jack for headphones. When I plug in the feed to my wireless head phones the regular audio is blanked out but the tactile signal is still on.
 
I may be able to do something similar. I should be able to power the USB dongle using the USB charger I have and then plug the headset out from the Logitech Z623 into the dongle to send wireless sound to my Sony headset. I will give it a try tonight.
 
I was not able to use my Sony Pulse Elite headset with my Buttkicker Gamer 2. I had to switch back to using my Turtle Beach X-Ray headset with my PS3, so that I also can use my Buttkicker.
 
I had to use the dongle separate from the PS3. It is inline to the Buttkicker Gamer 2 amp. I will take a photo tonight if you would like to give it a try.
 
Hi mate, I got the buttkicker plugg into the old AV, headphones through the optic output using a cheap DAC. works for me all on the ps3. Also with the buttkicker I used a Y connector to the red an white connectors as I found it made the buttkicker more mono, rather than if just plug it into the left side you get full left kerb and half right kerbs, pluged into the right side you get full right kerb and half left kerbs in the feeling. Y connector its full both times you go over left or right kerbs.. lol if you know what I mean lol

Good tip, I will have to try this out with my Buttkicker.
