As I went through the game systems... psx....gamecube....xobx I never bought a PS2. Therefore, I cannot play and of the new GT games. I absolutely LOVED GT2 and was wondering if GT3 or 4 was just as good. If I get good feedback, i will possibly be convinced to finnally get a PS2.

Of course it's good. GT4 is better in just about every way though, but doesn't cost $20.
Tons of stuff to do and both games will last you quite some time.

I played GT3 for two years and really only got bored with it after GT4 came out. It's pretty much the only game I regularly played.
If you get a PS2 there are a bunch of great games you can buy as Greatest Hits, such as Jak & Daxter, as well.
