Help out a newcomer to working a gameshark!

Although this board is looking awful intimidating :nervous: ...Can someone tell me how to get my Gameshark working right for my PS2? I am trying to use the 'instant win' cheat, and I can't get it to work at all...I haven't found any special instruction on how to use different cheats.

I was able to do the money cheats, but like the instant win cheat, the no tire wear cheat didn't work either...

Can someone help me win one of the F-1 cars?!

Heh, this is a pretty freindly place. The gs.com codes are only for "single races".
Heres one for series races instant win, but you have to adjust it to how many laps the race is. Just use the values according to the race length.
Always on Lap 2
3D6DB100 1456E7A7
3D6E5F78 1456E7A7
these are the other lap values, just change the last 4 digits of each code.
2 LAP=E7A7
3 LAP=E7A8
5 LAP=E7A2
10LAP=E79F
15LAP=E79C
20LAP=E7B1
Here is the "no tire wear code" for series races, it doesen't work for qualifying.
No Tire wear

I think you can only use one or two codes at a time. If you use 10 different codes at the same time it doesn't work. And if you miss ONE letter of code the code won't work.
