Here’s Every New Car Coming to Gran Turismo 7

If you’re anything like us, you’ll have spent much of this week poring over the finer details of everything coming out of PlayStation’s special Gran Turismo 7 State of Play. We certainly have, and you can find out everything we know to date in our Ultimate Guide to Gran Turismo 7...

Sony should invest more in manufacturer licenses, there are still too many historical brands such as Lotus, range rover, opel, volvo, mg just to name a few that are not present.
With the new structure of the campaign in which the events are present in the various circuits the game can be expanded to infinity.
With the new gt cafè in my opinion polyphony should create menus dedicated to the various generations of specific models, for example a menu dedicated to the generations of the toyota yaris, one dedicated to the fiat panda or to the generations of the ford escort rs or to the audi rs3 etc. etc. , the possibilities are endless

Are we sure about the Testarossa I saw it but it was blurry hence why I did not want to hype myself up.

You guys missed to list the Mercedes SSK or whatever it was.

EDIT: S Barker Tourer 1929

EDIT2: Okay, that was either a sneaky edit, or I was blind.

Uhhh, you might wanna update it slightly, considering the Nissan Z/Fairlady Z '23 got confirmed on a Nismo booklet with an in-game screenshot.

As you'll know from the Master Car List thread, we're only listing cars seen in official GT7 media. The Z does not meet that single overriding criterion.

What, this one?
There’s space for a couple of Pebble Beach Gran Turismo Award winners too. The Ferrari 500 Mondial won the competition in 2012, so it’s been waiting for a decade to appear, while the Mercedes Benz S Barker Tourer hits GT7 after just over four years. Oddly, another Pebble Beach car, the overall 2008 champion Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta, looks to be joining them, rather than the 2019 GT Award-winning 8C 2300 Zagato.

Well, it isn't much is it? Past GT games launched with upwards of 100 new cars or more. Combined with the zero new tracks it's not going to make for the freshest experience for a brand new game.
I think the car number and variety is decent for a start. Most of the added car are great choice, small number of duplicate overall. We can safely bet on 5 cars each month and one track every 3-4months, so it's more than enough to have fun. I'm just hoping for decent AI and huge offline.

i had high expectation
Why? The messaging has been pretty consistently "Over 400" or "420+" for months now, and it's been pretty clear that all or almost all of GT Sport's 338-vehicle car list is included in that. Nobody should have been expecting any more than 82-or-so new cars, and we already knew about 50 of them - including highly demanded new vehicles like the 917K, 991 Street Version, Carrera GT, Ferrari F8 and Focus RS, the three Vision GTs and two of the three Pebble Beach cars, and returning cars like the Castrol Supra, Pennzoil Nissan, Alfa 155 Super Touring, and Chaparral 2J.

Why would your expectations have been any higher?

Well yes, it's becoming pretty clear to me this will be a much better game in 6+ months. So that's probably when I'll buy it, with hopefully two or three new tracks and another 50 or so new cars.

I think you missed the 1959 Corvette Stingray out, unless my memory is playing tricks and it was just wishful fantasy. 😅

Nice new additions from Ferrari and Porsche, (personal taste). But It seems Polyphony is avoiding (just joking) to include my favourite models from Lamborghini. Now we have Countach LP400 and 25th anniversary which is cool, but the ones I love are LP400s, LP500S and LP5000QV. Diablo GT is perhaps the best one at the track, but the ugliest in my opinion, I would have prefered earlier and slower Diablo VT, SV, SE30 or Diablo 6.0. Chances are that we would get some of these in future updates along with some Gallardos, Espada or even the Jalpa..but nothing is for sure.

It's my opinion and what i think, and yes i had higher expectation in term of content for this game. I know they announced only 400+ cars and i was already disappointed when the news came out.

Considering GTSport as a " Prologue " of GT7, for me it's just too poor. I was expecting the challenge feature that we had on GT5 and GT6, a good amount of cars and tracks instead of not.
