Honda or Acura NSX???

Honda has the better end NSX. I don't see why there is a Acura NSX.

The acura plain nsx is much heavier than both of the honda NSX's and since weight is generally a bad thing the honda's are better for racing.

The Acura NSX has more Hp 290 vs 276 for the Honda's.

Since the only Honda NSX's are special versions, they are both better. However, the regular Honda NSX sold in Japan has less power than a US Spec Acura NSX. They dont offer Type-R or Type S NSX's in North America either.


I tend to like the Honda's better because that is just more pure than some dazzled up gimmicky Acura brand label, which is some weak attempt at fooling North American buyers into thinking they are buying a luxury car.

Yeh, but there are a few separate cars...I think they shouldn't have included the same "model name" of cars in the game, but maybe different cars from the different manufacturers (e.g. Vauxhall has the VX220, we have the Commodore)

Yeah some are, they make some imports here too like Subaru (in Indiana) and Mazda. There was an Acura Plant in a staste, forgot which one...

Ok. I didn't dispute the fact that some "Japanese" cars are made in USA. Or even some Honda/Acura's are probably made in USA as well. But I KNOW that the NSX is made in Japan. I am sure it will always be made there. Along with the S2000. I was once told that each one(NSX) is made in Japan by sets of two man teams. But don't quote me on that, because I heard it from a somewhat unreliable source.

Another thing I am sure of, is that the interior is all stitched by hand. The engine is also assembled by hand etc.

talking about the NSX, you're right.... although some acuras are built here...

I hate how companies do that! They have to change the name of the cars so the stupid american consumers (am I the only one who doesn't fall for this SH:censored:T ?) will think there getting a better (or more luxurious) car than the car with the the real company's name on it. Just because it has a different name on it doesn't make it better!:banghead

One of the nicest cars I've seen around my cityt was at the University. A Japanese man in his 60's was driving a fairly new ('98ish) NSX and he had Honda badges on it. Not red or blue or yellow Honda badges, just chrome honda badges. He also had very nice gunmetal/shadowchrome rims. I complemented him on having a beautiful car.

Does honda even sell NSX's in the states? Isn't it only Acura? I know that toyota doesn't sell the equivalent lexus IS300 in the US. Nissan doesn't sell 2-door G35's. American consumers for the most part don't have a choice what auto company they buy a particular model from. They have to buy from the luxury label if they want the car.

About the games' NSX's, I've tested, and the Acura models usually come up around 100hp shy of their Honda counterparts (when they are fully tuned), and are also heavier.

I think, because the game is japanese biased, that maybe that is the japanese way of poking fun at the USA

lol, yeah who knows, you'd think they'd both be the same engines, although, like in real life, the Japanese variants always rev a little higher, and put out a little more power (look at the Evo VIII)

if it is on par with the scoob, I think it will do well.
the problem with evos (in Oz) is that they are $30k more than scoobs and there fore arent in the same market :/
