hosting providers internet connection

So I come back from college and my broadband connection has gone belly up. I suspect the fault lies with the provider. Anyway I have now plugged in the old school 56k telephone line into my modem and am now surfin the internet at snail pace. My dial up connection is provided by my moms website host supanames. I was just wondering, do I get charged for using the dial up or is it free?

It sounds a bit too good to be true, but it does look like you won't be charged anything other than your local phone call rates.

Where are you dialling into?

You have to dial a service provider with your modem in order to get a connection. Check your connection details, find out who it is, then look at their site.
