how are the graphics in Max Payne?

I'm thinking about getting this game. Some screen shots I've seen look really good but some look kind of grainy.

Ok, well for the XBOX the graphics aren't great but the gameplay makes up for it.

yup, what he said is absolutely true

But its not like they are unbearable

What space said Tazz said, ( ) but you might wanna set your TV's brightness all the way up almost. Just like with GTA3, the game is gloomy on purpose.

Well I rented Max Payne and the graphics were a bit of a disappointment. Grainy. Character models have squared-off heads. When you push right or left on the left anolog stick to look around framerate drops to about 12 frames per second. I would say that GTA3 has better graphics than Max Payne.
