Hybrid Cars - Changing Names (last question...)

(thankfully for you guys that should be a couple of weeks)

Anyway, is it possible to change a car's name to that of one not in the game?, e.x. I slap some pearlescent Tuscan paint onto an S2000 LM body, make some more mods (no clue if that'd freeze the game or not...), and call it the 'S2000 Tokyo Auto Show Edition'.
 
Unfortunately,
you can't change colors of a car unless it shares the same color code in
a similiar model. For example, if you have a green Vanguish, and you want it
to be the same Blue as your Vantage, just cut and paste the Vantage color code into the Vanquish and presto.

Changing names can work in a limited way.
For example I have an RX8, I changed the base model name to RX7
and I am able to change wheel rims. You can also do that for
the Acura RSX, just change it over to an Integra.

The GT3 hybrid editor has some limitations, but once you begin working with it the possibilities are endless.

For example:
An Alfa 155 GT with a Storm V12 motor, 4WD, and huge 20" wheels.
The car looks and sounds sinister!
