Hi,

I swear that if I get called a hacker again I will throw my ps3 out the window.
Sorry I just had to get that off my chest.

First incident I have very fast drag cars and I went into room and it was full of people/kids who say my car does 8.177 and 8.111.I say that is impossible and race them in my enzo and ford gt and beat them they then insist I hack and have won by cheating I said I never hack and never will.

Second incident I like to race and I drive very clean and fair. It was a 650pp lobby so I pull out my good old gtr I have a very good setup as me and my friend worked on this tune for 2 months over the winter so in this race I drive clean and win so the host who was in his 20`s says you hacker how diid you win my car and driving is the best.

So my question why does every one call me a hacker?

It's an easy excuse for losing, that's why.

+10 I hate catching a bunch of names I've never seen in a Drag lobby, then they cry Hacker cause they do a burnout half way down the track and I'm just walking off on them.

Hacker. PS3, Window... Pics or it didn't happen.

And I no longer Drag because of Hackers themselves, Or sore losers calling me a hacker and booting me because I beat them clean.

Are you still running your stage 5 turbo, maybe review your post's before you post.

I get the same thing. I have a killer tune and break in on my RedBull Brian Vickers NASCAR and in dirty NASCAR rooms I've been called and kicked as a hacker a couple of times, and I sense a common theme amongst the accusers...youth. I think the real problem is for dirty NASCAR since they are getting bashed around so much they set their downforce way up for better grip but it slows the car down too much and then they can barely pass me even with draft. Seems to me the secret of doing well in those races is not so much about ramming your opponents as just going fast and staying out of trouble...but I have to admit it is fun when you send a guy into the wall and go underneath him as he flies through the air. :-)

Maybe not a hacker, but one who uses hacked parts.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=8522727#post8522727

There is clearly more evidence also of you asking for hacked parts. So.....just a guess here but maybe that's why they have issues with you. You know, this GTPlanet is a small place and kinda hard to hide what you do. :sly:

I may ask for hacked parts but I did not get any. I would never use them in an online lobby anyway they were for my personal use offline if I got any.

Doesn't matter. When people see that, they are just going to assume that you have and use them. Quite frankly, I wouldn't trust you either.

I had stated this in the "Worst You've Dealt With Online" thread, and I'll restate it here:
"When I'm by myself or in a free roam I'll sometimes use cars that have stage 4 turbos in them or some other hidden part, unless the host disallows hacked or hidden-parts-enhanced cars. However when I race I'll use legitimate cars that have parts normally available in the game. When the rules are set in place, I'll play fair. Therefore, I'm not deteriorating other players' experiences."

To me, using hidden parts doesn't automatically grant you a win online. Once I was in a race lobby on Nurburgring. One player was using a Supra RZ with a Stage 4 turbo (about 1,040HP). He even typed "This Supra has a Stage 4 Turbo." I had no problem trashing him with my ZR1 'Vette, which was only tuned to 700HP.

I feel your pain. I have a Viper that I run drags as a 3spd(gears are really long so that 3rd is the highest gear I reach on the 1/4 and when I can still run 155mph on said 1/4 with only 3 gears they cry "hacker" whether I win or lose.

Power delivery is one thing, but here's something else I feel like I need to point out regarding the Supra/ZR1 comparison.

Supra tire sizes.

ZR1 tire sizes.

I believe it's also been revealed that some cars in the game get different tires than others; whether they be Comfort Hard or Racing Soft, the tires equipped offer up differing levels of grip.

Yep, you are correct. You would be referring to my thread about hidden tires.

Also, don't be so fast to judge these hidden parts just because of the name "stage 4 or stage 5". A lot of people forget that even know that these parts give more power, they give power in certain places. For example, the Supra with a stage 5 turbo, it will have a higher HP than one with a low range turbo, but just because it had a higher HP doesn't make it any better. If you need boost in a lower range RPM, the stage 5 turbo is pointless to have. With a stage 5 turbo it takes longer to build boost than low range turbo, so it would make the car worse.

Also I don't want to hear anyone say "it doesn't matter there isn't any turbo lag in GT5" because you are completely wrong for even saying that, because there is turbo lag in GT5.

So there is no doubt that the ZR1 beat that Supra. All it would take is one wrong shift to slow the turbo down out of the range of max boost, causing it to have to build boost again.

So laugh at him for using the part in the wrong way, not using the part in general. It takes more than just slapping a hidden part on your car to make you feel like a bad 🤬, it takes a real driver to know how to use the parts under the hood correctly.

Completely forgot about mentioning the tires. He was on racing hards, I was on sports softs. He also had ABS switched to 10...:odd:

Before I added stage 5 clutch + flywheel parts, my 1000HP Twin Turbo GTO was getting beaten by well-tuned Audi LMQs at the 1/4 mile...

Anyway, you shouldn't quit GT5 just because some idiots think that only 1337 H4XX0RZ can beat their drag strip monster (see: GTR Spec V) that they spend hours tuning (see: Added all the parts and lowered the top speed a bit). If I were you, I'd find entertainment in annoying those kids - help the people who don't complain, improve your own tune, find + tune some unusual or rare cars that can beat the awful GTRs that the kids are using. Hopefully you'll be able to get THEM to leave rather than letting them aggravate you into doing so.

Take a well tuned drag GT-R

Race against a kid in his standard Veyron

Hear what your mother has done and will do, you ****ing hacker!!!

I've been accused of hacking before in dirty rooms. I don't know how to hack, I just know how to tune well and get better cars than the competition. Like in 545 pp races I run my not hacked 2J (not to brag but usually win, more car win than driver win) and get accused of hacking. It is fair to run better cars than the competition if the cars are not hacked. Mopars don't hack they just tune well.

Don't worry, its just kids past their bedtime and they still can't figure out how to play after 2.5 years.
