I know just about everyone else has one already, but through fair means (getting my B-spec level to to 35) I finally got mine......and I can't drive it

I'm sure I'll get the hang of it over time, but for now it feels so twitchy that the slightest movement on the controller sends me wildly off into the grass, or wall. If anyone has any advice other than practicing, which I intend to do, feel free to express it.

Check the tuning forum for some setups that make it more manageable. And crazy as it sounds, use the power limiter under the engine settings to calm the beast.

Good luck!

Simply do not use it. I got mine the same way.

Sure i drove it a couple of times. In the Vettel special for instance. Not worth the frustration of getting bronze.

And i took it to daytona. It feels like i`m doing a fast forwarding race. It is not a car but a space ship made by aliens. The physics of it are out of this world. When i think of taking it to Nordschleife i feel sick to my stomach.

Of course sometimes you you have to swallow the bitter pill and learn how to drive a ride but i already did that with the LMP`s / group C cars and the formula gran turismo. No need to take it a few steps further. This car is simply not for me.

Maybe you can set the downforce to minimum, that way it will react less directly i think.

Power limit it to 50% and add 200 kg of ballast, once you get used to that, remove 50-100kg of ballast, and keep adding power/removing ballast until you get to max power and and minimum weight and can drive it 👍

That is quite the idea. I think this might be a great idea instead of trying to punch your way through to driveability with the natural X2010's ridiculous control learning curve.

Congratz on level 35 Bspec but I suggest you do not drive the X2010. It will break the game for you. I have had 1 friend and my brother inlaw who both got the X2010 and after getting maybe 10 races after it haven't played the game since.(4 months for the friend and 3 weeks for my inlaw). It will make you realize how crappy other cars are. I have my level 35 shared online so that I can't race it offline in GT Career mode.

No disrespect or anything, but they seem quite ridiculous from what you said.

Completely disagree, in fact it's the total opposite, after driving the x2010, I couldn't wait to get back to driving normal cars

Same here. yea ok, it took a while to get used to the lack of grip and speed but theres nothing better than driving a proper car after the X2010.

Take the car for what it is. Its an excellent grinder and can be lots of fun. The car will not ruin racing for you, nor will it make you a poor driver. Its a game, and its just another car. Use it when you want, have fun with it. Dont let others elitist opinions influence your enjoyment of the game.

I finally got mine Monday. Seeing as I have refused to do Bspec thus far, I had to do it the annoying way by driving it. I found Suzuka to be the most enjoyable event and it was the closest I got to silver. I took it to the Nurburgring to see how ludicrous it would be there. On one attempt I actually made it to karroussel before crashing.

Great car! Drive it too much and it ruins the game. 👎

It was supposed to be special.....seems that when trading comes to, only the Stealth cars, ChromeLine cars, the Gamestop Nascar and the Camaro SS Edge Special are indeed special. :indiff:
Good luck with the X2010, i have 9 of them sitting in my garage  you'll get bored of it soon. (I have won the Vettel too)

That car is totally insane!!! I made a point to drive every track on it but after the first two I kind of gave up... It is scary even for a video game...

Got mine last night, driven it once to do a lap of the TG test track. Then sent Bob to do the grand valley 300 in it, despite lapping every car about a million times, I left him alone for the last 10 laps and he finished 7th. Tried it again (only takes an hour or so), made the same mistake, and he finished 7th!!!! WTF is going on? Is there some stupid glitch I don't know about??

No, its the pre race screen. It will always show the Bob in 7th, It isnt his finishing position, its just his starting position. Check the cash reward fo 1st place verse what you recieve, that should tell you whether he did actually finished first or not.

Sure the cash reward was something like 49,000 credits. I thought the prize for that was something like 200k. And I didn't win a prize car either.

edit*

My fail. The prize is only 49k credits. That's not worth an hour of my time.

In the X2010, your Bob will win that race in reverse, handcuffed & with a paper bag over his head. Trust me, he won it. Your P7 is the starting grid for the next race.

I took mine around Daytona last night, the 33 second laps were insane, and I'm sure with a touch more practice I could do even better. As for my Bob's, this car is too nice for them.

A mate was hosting a lobby and he also had just recieved his so like 6 of us all just pulled ours out and started lapping Grand Valley East. The fastest lap was a 32.2XX with a wheel I only just managed to scrape in a 32.6XX on a DS3

I got it a few days ago, was hell to get at first (learnging to drive it). After some driving aids and a few other mods I got it with a DS3 pretty easily.
