Here is my brillant idea 4 the calendar!!

1.) Have all the F1 races and other forms of racing on the calendar!!

2.) same as number 1!!

Man, that it is a good idea! :) What other forms of racing should we put on there? Definitely WRC and the Petit Le Mans Series.

American Le Mans or European Le Mans Series, Jordan. The Petit Le Mans is the name of a race not a series. I believe I said that before, but tis alright.

Soon it will be time, hope MG and Bentley do superbly if they are there.

Oh... :embarrassed: :D I guess it would be better to add the American Le Mans Series, since it's closer to home for most of us here. :)

MG and Bentley were not at the race. Bentley is just focusing on the Le Mans 24 hour race and one MG was supposed to be there but it didnt get sent over!

What happened to this? Surely there are races happening in January, but there's nothing on the calendar.

Do you really use the Calendar that much? I just got lazy and figured it wouldn't be worth the effort... :embarrassed:

Who dug this anicent thing up, you dont have to do this jordan it was just an idea at the time while real racing was happening not NASCAR.

Ha ha, I like the seperation between 'real racing' and NASCar (: - I agree though, there may not be enough stuff going on right now. However, it would be nice to see when GT3 contests are coming up (like the board contests ...) and Formula 1 races and things. The entries on the calendar can be clicked for more information, right? So you could include airtime and station and such?

Yes, it would be a great way to organize challenges...

It might be hard to find things with all 4,769 members' birthdays. Personally, I find no relevance in their birthdays ... any chance that could be turned off? (: It would only matter if the calendar was actually going to be used for something -important-.

Whoa ... I just realized that with 4769 members, there is an average of 13 birthdays per day! That's a whole lot of partying going on! (:

I got some challenges after the MRS of course, some real douzy's.

@Loudmusic:
I liked it to, watching 43 drivers turn left for 3 hours is boring, watching F1 cars turn both left and right for 1.5 hours is great fun!

Ha ha! That rocks dude! And it's setup for anyone to post events to it? This could get interesting. Now it needs to be publicised and moderated (:

SCCA events...gottal love watching prodution Miatas and stuff racing around on Mid-Ohio(I was there in the summer for the big bike show that they have). Also we could have a thing where we can input any car meets and where/when they are.

Yep, anyone can post events. Moderating a few years all at the same time could prove tough, though!

Is there an easy way to check for new events? I suppose if they just monitor the current and a couple months ahead it should be plenty. I'd volunteer, but like I've said before ... I don't want any responcibility - I like being 'just another member' (hey, that's not a bad title ...) (:

Nope, unfortunately there's not. However, I believe I remember seeing mention of this in the works for vBulletin 3.0.
