Great find, that does take me back. 1987 I was 17 and can remember watching that on TV.

Scaff wanders off to dream of a lost youth.

I've got the 87 & 88 BTCC seasons on VHS (if anyone remembers that ancient format) - some great action back in the day.

I was way younger than Scaff was ;)

If you wouldn't mind converting them to Digital format and sharing them with us, we'd appreciate it. ^^

I don't have the technology to do so at the moment, maybe one day.

And would also be a breach of copyright if you then shared them, be careful as the AUP does cover things of this nature.

Allthough. I have downloaded this vid before, and i'm pretty sure it was from this site.

Better get searching through those threads!

That's the racing I was brought up on, good stuff.

That's the racing I wish I was brought up on. Too bad I was born one year prior to that race.

Gotta love seeing those E30 M3 Gr.A's in action...even if they couldn't quite keep up to the Sierra Cosworths and their 200hp advantage. However, at the end of the clip it shows that James Weaver's M3 was in the lead in points for the season at that point... :sly:

Is it just me or is that track very similar to Seoul.

I like watchin these races alot. There are plenty of racing and bumping to keep my interest.

That's the old Birmingham street course, I remember seeing a few races there before they stopped turning Birmingham into a street track.
