First of all, I am Edu, 26, from Brasil, and I've been playing Gran Turismo 5 for 3 weeks, I am on Level 29, got all Gold in License Tests, and I am enjoying it, despite its flaws.

After this long intro, I thought of posting a topic about relevant cars that should have been in the game, so here is the first part of my list

But seriously, the list of relevant cars that aren't in GT5 could go on forever. Like any Porsche for instance...

Nissan Mid-4 Concepts I and II
The testbed for the venerable VG30DETT engine, the ATTESA AWD system made famous by the Skyline GT-R, and the HICAS four-wheel-steering system.

Nissan Gloria/Cedric
Toyota MarkII Chaser/Tourer
RWD sport luxury sedans with nearly 100 years combined history.

Well if they could add F1 cars then the Williams FW14B 92 has to be there. Mastered active suspension , mastered Semi Automatic gear box , ABS , TC, also unquie at the time a V10 engine This was the first of many championship winner Newey designed cars ( yes the X1 guy )

Also adding some of the BTCC cars from the 90's would have been good.

The F50 was a rubbish car and even Ferrari treat it like a ginger step child. The FXX would make one hell of a stealth car.

I know you were exaggerating, but that wouldn't even be right if you counted every Japanese car as a Skyline (there are only 633 Japanese cars).

I refuse to class the Prius a car!

Notice all the cars that AREN'T Japanese? hahaha. Come on PD, even western devs can get more cars from other countries, than you can (That are relevent).

I like Porsche, and not mentioned it because we all know about the legal question regarding licensing, and like others, I think there are an overload of japanese cars, many are almost the same, and I would easily swap 150 of them for those of my list

It is all about licensing. And PD has already licensed a hell of a list. 1k is not a short one :)

I imagine (with absolutely no knowledge or evidence to support it) that the licenses are sort of blanket licenses in some cases, I mean I'm not sure why BMW would say 'yes, you can use the Z4, M3 and M5, but not the M6', that would just seem like they're ashamed of the M6 (from what I've heard, it's an absolute beast).

In most cases they use the most recent models from a manufacturer because those manufacturers exist to make money and GT is advertising for them so it's understandable they would want PD to focus on cars they actually sell, but I don't understand why they would purposely not license older cars if PD have a majority of newer cars. I am pretty much just thinking of BMW and the E30 M3 right now to be honest, I mean they have included most of BMW's flagships (though no X cars (thankfully!) nor the M6), so as they've covered most of BMW's current model range it wouldn't be wasting time to let PD add a car that BMW no longer sell...?

Its a shame that one of the coolest and most iconic cars (Maybe one of the most used cars among young men here in europe) wasn`t included in any GT game sofar instead of those countless Miatas, Skylines, 3000GTs and Silvias, who are already forgotten.

The first thing I noticed when I wanted to buy my 1st car - there isn't BMW M6.
BMW's flagship model isn't in the game...why?

There is a common sense about the japanese cars and other pointless things in the game, for instance, the Formula GT, instead of it we could have some classic F1 like the Brabham BT46 '78 "fan car" BT49 '81 and BT52 '83, Lotus 72, Lotus 79 "wing car", McLaren MP4/2, the first F1 to use a full carbon fibre structure, and the aforementioned McLaren MP4/4

I know this is not going to change, this is just a thought
