I mean, you really wouldn't wanna go too far into the kerbs if the kerbs are that wide, especially in these cars. IIRC, WRS has the same track limits. White lines without kerbs are track limits though but I would go into detail of that when we do have tracks where that applies.

...see ya in a lobby on Friday :)

Entry list updated. We are now 3 entries away from a full grid!

Also of note, I will be reevaluating current track limit rules, so expect further updates on that in the coming days. Reserve entries and non-attendance rules will also be put in place to prepare for the eventuality of the entry count exceeding current online lobby capacity of 16.

What times on track will be used?
I was thinking about asking that myself. Hopefully not default because some start early morning. The lighting looks okay but the extra bloom from your lights on the rear of the car in front is very distracting, not to mention unrealistic.

I'm really impressed they were able to get F1 commercial free this year and from just a single sponsor. Those guys must really like racing and said "we'll do it ourselves!"

I know this is probably not a big issue, but what was the reasoning behind the 2 week gap between Nurburgring and Suzuka?

If @Antares26 wants to do this, could always change the times as the event goes. Practice in the morning, qualifying at noon, race in the evening. Not exactly realistic but as close as you can get with GT.

That could work, you just have to manually set the grid for the race since time change will reset everyone. Here are the available times for each track, excluding the first and last if they create that extra bloom. I thought more of them would but maybe it's more of a thing on the fake tracks, as it's kind of a fake effect.

July 7 - Brazil 1H - Autodromo de Interlagos - 8:30, 9:15, 9:30, 13:45, 16:45, 19:15
July 14 - Italy 1H - Autodromo Nazionale Monza - 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, 17:00, 20:30
July 21 - Nurbugring 1.5H - Nurburgring GP - 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:30, 20:30
August 11 - Japan 1H - Suzuka Circuit - 6:30, 7:45, 14:30, 15:45, 16:30, 18:15
August 18 - Le Mans 1.5H - Circuit de la Sarthe - 6:30, 7:00, 11:00, 12:00, 15:00, 21:00, 22:00

Umm, take a look at the specs, it's tuned down for LMP3 :)
Just noticing this now that real life LMP3 is more than 355HP. Right now they use 420. Would you like test that out before the first night? I'm okay with whatever

TBH with you, it is 420hp, but consider that current real LMP3 cars have their track records set for this power train, and current setup for this event can achieve even better times (considering we are not pro drivers), this brings us that maybe the LMP1 chassis is a bit too good for LMP3 :) power is not the problem at all...

Not sure what this means exactly. What about power train?

It's good to have options :)

For this company making Formula One commercial free on ESPN this season I will be changing my main sponsor to Mother's. Btw, I didn't see myself on the entry list.
I never got a sign up lol.

This has been tested, I put that into consideration when I first made the spec. For example at Monza, at 420HP these cars would go five seconds faster than actual LMP3 cars. You have to remember the TS030 is a hybrid and the LMP1 chassis has more downforce than LMP3 even at its lowest settings.

As for track times, those are yet to be decided. You guys may be on the money, maybe not. That'll come out in the coming days as well ;)

Well you said the Toyota has more downforce than a real LMP3 chassis, so maybe lowering it to minimum would make it closer to how an LMP3 would feel.

Just to be clear I'm not asking you to change anything, merely bringing up topics for discussion. This series is entirely in your hands and we'll do whatever.

Cool. I always enjoy the inner workings of things. The "how" of everything, as it were. It doesn't mean I'm questioning if it's right or not, I just like to know what goes into decision making. I hope that's okay.

I have a friend's room only lobby up and running. I will be in and out so feel free to join in. Send me an FR if your not on my list and want to get in.
