Is anyone else finding that B class test with the 370Z overly difficult with driving aids off?

The rear of the car just does not want to stay planted no matter what I do I managed to get past it on a controller putting traction on one and I hooked up my wheel and I still cannot keep the rear of the car from stepping out. Especially through that second portion. It feels more in control but it just wants to kick.
 
That was when I knew for sure the RWD physics were broken. I drive a 370Z and it does not behave like that.
I managed to get gold but spun it about 5 times before I did.

Get used to it, all RWD with any sort of power at all do that.
 
If you have issues with that 370z in the B License, you haven't seen nothing yet. Keep going at it and from what I've experienced, you'll find that any FR or MR cars that are on Sport tires (regardless if it is Hard, Medium or Soft) are borderline undrivable without TSC. I just gave up trying to complete them without aid after spending hours trying to gold them all last night and let me tell you, it was very frustrating affair at times.

Yeah it was quite tricky. I found the challenge enjoyable and learnt a lot from it. I just figured if the car is stepping out then I was exceeding the grip limits of the tires so adjusted my driving to suit.

Traction circle dude, traction circle. If you're using 95% of a tire's traction to corner, and add 10% throttle, guess what happens. You can't add more of one without reducing the other.

Thusfar I have actually encountered one car that is virtually undriveable to me on gamepad. The 1972 A110 is just ridiculous and I can't be bothered to tune it. Instantaneous spin any time you let off the throttle.

Yeah i'm inclined to say this is aa game problem and not a me problem. I have no issues taking a 370z around in Assetto Corsa and it doing as I expect of it where is this thing is just gone.

The difficulty or ease of the test isnt the point, Im pretty sure I did too after I stopped being silly and trying to drift it since it was my first go with a decent powered FR car. But even being sensible and babying it the rear would step out, it feels all sorts of wrong like the rear of the car is on 30 year old bald tires.

If you overdrive turn entry or are sliding the front tires at all, oversteer on throttle application isn't instant, but wheelspin is, and uncontrollable oversteer is right behind it. I'm betting you have more steering lock dialed in than you realize, and even controlled throttle application isn't enough to keep it pointed forward. This is an Achilles heel for me, and GTS punishes it as much as Sport did in the first couple months before they started changing things. I'm finding it easier to correct with GT7 because I can 'feel' the front tires much better.
 
Yeah rwd physics on sports tyres seems a bit off tbh. Thinking of the 370 and the corvette at Willow Springs as well. It's almost like they have too much rear grip on slick tyres so pd dialled down the rear grip a bit but it makes cars on sports and comfort tyres extremely difficult to drive.
