Is there a good DS4 replacement out there?

I'm using L2/R2 for braking/acceleration, but with modulation so limited I find it a challenge to maintain steady partial throttle.

I want to keep the configuration I have right now and I'm not into steering wheels and pedals, just a better controller...is there something else out there that's better?

There is scufs or that new astro controller but the astro is 270...for a controller. Most other regularly priced controllers ive seen are probably worse than the ds4. Basically most premium controllers cost the same as low-mid range wheel and probably wont give you that much better modulation.
