Jaguar Takes the Electric I-Pace SUV Racing with New eTrophy Series

Finally crossover racing is a thing (which is the big news here, not that its electric)! It's been a long time coming. I've been surprised there hasn't been a crossover rallycross series or a NASCAR crossover series already.
 
This is the push going forward. Only a matter of time before we see electric FIA gt cars and electric rallycross
 
Well, seeing as SUV's and electrification seem to be the in things at the moment, it was probably inevitable this would happen.

Because nothing says good marketing like a racing SUV...
