I have heard from many places, message boards, friends, even on Q101, Chicagolands #1 radio station, that Jon Heder, the actor who played Napoleon Dynamite, has died from food poisoning, and some say he died of a car crash. (woah, that's a lot of commas) I can't seem to find any news about it! I tried Google news, Yahoo News, CNN and BBC. Nothing. Is this just a rumor, or what?

If you've heard so many different causes of his "death", it's probably just some stupid rumor, keep us posted though.

Now I want to know where this rumor came from,a nd how it spread so quickly!

It's the internet. Consider that you posted it here and how many people have read it? then passed it along, inside one day that can spread amazingly fast.

Remember the "Love Letter" virus? In the process of one day, that spread from a few computers in the philippines to a world wide millions of computers infected.

When you spread that rumor to 5 other people, those 5 pass it along to 5 each. That means 20+5+you = 31 people. Give it six more phases and you've got 488,280+you.

See how easily rumors spread?

Ever thought of posting a good one up and seeing how far it runs?

Damn I was hoping it was true! I honestly wouldn't have been sad or felt bad.

You never know, that guy reminds me of the type that would drive something like that.

He looked like an Chevy Cavalier type to me........... Anyways, sounds like he is ok, I'm glad. From what I've seen in Napoleon Dynamite, he's an interesting actor. 👍

^I watch practically no TV. I probably watch two to four hours of TV a week.

I didn't search for information on it because I knew somebody in this thread would answer the question. I don't ever go into the Movies and TV forum so I wouldn't have known about that thread.

Whats with all these rumors of celebrities dying in car wrecks. Ans I am sure glad this is a rumor. There needs to be a Napoleon Dynamite 2. I also heard a rumor about Avril Lavigne dying in a car wreck on a chat room once. All these idiots passing around false stories. Whoever started this one is a bodagget.

I didn't get it? WHAT THE HELL WAS THERE TO GET!!!
That's what makes it so funny! it's so shallow and obvious, that it's deep! And ultimately very funny!

I'm just going to walk away from this stupidity. It might make me cry.

You are just too cool for it, aren't you? Man, one of my freinds is that way. "That was the dumbest movie ever" constantly. People just don't pick up on some of the subtle humor hidden in it. You have to be in to it to get the full experience out of it

Alright I said I wasn't going to do this but I will.

I'm not to cool for it, I just thought the movie was the stupidest thing I have ever seen. I went to the theater and saw it. But it wasn't good humor.

I like funny movies, Office Space is by far the greatest because its actually humor. Not just stupid things. Napolean Dynamite actually reminded me of something Charlie Chaplin would have done, it was pretty slap stick.

Office Space is funny, but I don't think that's an fair comparison. If you compare every comedy with Office Space, almost every comedy movie will suck. Napoleon Dynamite was definitely funny, but as I've said in earlier post, it's not for everybody.
