Ok ok I know it sounds quite cheesy. Even my GF couldnt stop laughing at me when I grabbed this game... I decided to rent it anyway for the heck of it.
So far it is ok. No settings for surround sound but it sounds ok anyway. No settings for normal hard or easy. I expected this to be terrible but so far it is actually tolerable and the story line might keep my very small attention span occupied long enough to play further.
I have played about 20 minutes and I have encountered big crab creatures, big centipedes, several minor puzzles, big dragon demon creatures and some other animals. I know its not much of a review but the graphics are ok for PS2 and even though the game play is quite linear, its not too bad so far. Jack Blacks character is actually quite close to how he looks in real life. He also does the character voices and adds a comical feel to the game.
