Lap time glitch in Endurance race

When I was leading on Grand Valley Enduarnce, when I pitted and took off to the next check point, the time it said that I was ahead of the car behind me was still the same as before I pitted. It took atleast 1 and sometimes 2 checkpoints to recalculate my lead time. It was like the car behind me jumped 20+ secs on me.

BTW the car behind me did not pit.
 
hehe reason why it does this is cause it goes by the time you had when you passed the checkpoint he had just passed it doesn'ty change til he hits the checkpoint/ or start/finish you passed after you pitted
 
Yep it's not a glitch it's just the way the times are clocked.
