In addition to the other comments - also key to this test is not scrubbing off speed in the bends through drifting. fwiw I had aids off except TCS and ABS at 1 - which is my usual preference, DS3+AT.

One of those; it may take 1 go or 100 goes and you do not always know why. Not as bad as IA-2 for myself, golding that was a tad repetitive.

I spend over two hours on this one yesterday before I got it, do what these guys are saying, but no braking, an only release the throttle for half a sec.

I have a tip for every license test. Ignore the blue driving line or just deactivate it. The driving line will not help you to get Gold in most tests, because you often need a complete differen line or speed to pass tests.

I do not know, what the developer changed to GT4 (where the line was really helpfull),, but this time I reached Gold in tests with everything, but not following the line.

This line only should give you a clue where to brake. But everything should be driven by your own.

The above are helpful when you get stuck. I think A-8 was the Schumacher S, and yeah it's one of the more difficult in A. Use the curbs, and tap the brake on entry so you can get the car turned to the left.

absolute swine this was - I was nowhere near until I set traction to 4 instead of 5 - I was instantly .2 of a second faster - job done - trust me this works - spent 2 hours on it unsuccessfully before making the change

You should completely deactivate it, because the car is much more handable without any TCS

Tried that (and do in races when I remember you have to keep changing it!!!) but on the Scumi S's I was skidding out on the first corner, couldnt get a grip on the handling

just pull slightly from the gas ... steer in a bit ... so the weight moves over ... then gradualy floor it again:tup:
