Do you have a lucky charm? I used to have one, an old knight chess piece that I had used correction pen on to make it look white. Seemed to work well enough during exams, but hasnt brought an ounce of luck in ages.

Probably cos it is an inanimate object.

i dont, but a friend of mine had a luck upside-down cigarette.

he would open up a pack of twenty and place one upside down, when he offered you a ciggie you should NEVER take up upside down one....that was always smoked by him last...

apparently its when we went out on the piss in Glasgow and Edinburgh this would ways keep him from getting attacked or getting picked up by the polis for being drunk and incabable....

of course it never worked...;)

No. I believe that you make your own luck, and I couldn't ascribe my fortunes - good or bad - to an inanimate object.

I feel disappointed. I thought this was going to be a discussion about breakfast cereals.

Make Lucky Wang a part of your nutritious breakfast. Hmmm...no...

I'm on a swim team and i have a speedo with "racing stripes'' on it, I only wear it for swim meets and never to practice, its more of a mental boost, you think it gives you help, but in reality its all hype.

i disagree there, i dont think you can make you own luck. sure in some circumstances you can, but some you cant. say your walking somewhere.....say the train station.... you turn the corner out of you street and you find $20 bucks. Thats luck

i know lucky charms are useless but i still have one for some reason. its a american quarter i saved from my trip to hawaii about 5-6 years ago

I don't have a lucky charm per se, but I do have a little collection of totems that I've found/made/stolen/etc. The one thing I tend to keep around is an erection bolt (heh) from the first building I ever designed that cost over a million dollars to build.

Back when I smoked here and there, I took sombody's upside-down cig; I figured it must be the good one. Needless to say, he wasn't happy about that, either! So I told him, "Maybe you should have told me not to take it!"

I have a golf ball from the last time I ever went golfing with my grandfather; I managed a birdie on a par 4, the only time I'd ever done so. I don't think it's lucky, but I still have it sitting on my desk, and I haven't played golf since, anyhow.

My lucky charm is this little Aston Martin keychain thingie. Ever since I got it, I havent been in any wrecks...and I havent gotten any tickets.
