http://us.imdb.com/Title?0091499 I thought this was a pretty good movie but it seems it got a bad review. I never hear anybody talking about it so idk how popular it is. Its about machines/cars/electronics coming to life and controlling them selves(mainly trucks). So then these people get trapped in a gas station with trucks surrounding them.

Anybody else see this movie? What did you think of it?
 
I seem some of this before. What I remember (very vauge memory. I think i saw about 30 minutes of it on SciFi about 1 1/2 years ago) of this movie was that it was very cool. I wish i could get the tape/dvd somewhere.
 
Based on a Stephen King short story called "Trucks". It spawned the top ten album "Who Made Who" by AC/DC.

In the very beginning of the movie the guy with a problem at the ATM is Stephen King himself. In the scene where the kid is riding his bike down the vacant road and it shows the lady hanging our of the window, that lady is Marla Maples. Shortly after that she became involved with Donald Trump and wreaked havoc on his marriage.

You can also see another bad adaptation of this movie if you seach for a movie named "Trucks" which was put out in 1997 as a TV movie.

The original was produced in 1986.

The book was better.
