Its funny how fast auto-only cars are when you know its complete 🤬. Although the sound gets annoying... And they are terrible to drive...

Anyway I got similar results against the Fit but the old Demio was closer to new Demio around my testing. I will put a 5-speed on new Demio and see if it will still beat Old Demio and Fit.

Demio with 5-speed modification should reduce its lap time by about 2 seconds, I'm guessing.

Tested:

Mazda Demio Sport '03
Mazda Cosmo Sport (L10A) '67
Mazda Cosmo Sport (L10B) '68

Demio '03 is 2.3 seconds slower than the '10 and 1.8 seconds faster than the '99.

It ties with the Corvette '54 đź‘Ť

L10B is 2 seconds quicker than L10A.

Also, has the Yaris/Vitz used the same engines the whole way through its lifespan?
 
The 1.5L 1NZ-FE has been in use through all three generations. Not sure about the smaller engines.

Euro-R '02 is about half a second faster than '00.

Interesting that the '02 is faster considering it has less torque and more weight. It has a "more rigid body and better suspension" according to Car Info, as well as a 6 speed transmission.

Noticed the Acura CL Type-S '03 is less than 2 tenths quicker than the Euro-R '02.

I always drive the 25Z '07 because it is the closest car in GT5/6 to my real car a Suzuki Kizashi. Similar dimensions and power to weight. My car has better suspension though.

It is a fun car and being premium makes it look good.
 
Oh crap I recorded the outside of the car and not the cockpit, and I deleted my replay! I guess I have to beat my time, which might take a really long time...
 
I was almost right... the RSi was faster than the Taurus SHO by about .300. I think that the Mazdaspeed though is a bag of junk, although the standard Mazda 6 is cool.
 
The Mazdaspeed Atenza tried to steal some thunder from the Evo and STi, and failed miserably. It's got serious sleeper capabilities though. On first glance, it really looks like a normal Mazda 6.

The Vibe is 2 tenths quicker than the Mazda Atenza Sports 23Z '03.
