I would just like to know at this point if del sol honda and fto mitsubishi are present or have been canceled in this new patch
...
finally if you can create the mitsubishi marlboro that I have as an avatar would be my myths for eternity

I haven't removed any cars and never will - the del Sol and FTO LM are both still in the game as license prizes.

the fact is guys I'm playing the demo of the patch and I'm winning the dirt cars that I already had in the demo garage

The demo savegame includes all of the new prize cars already won - that's the point of it, so that people can try out the new content without playing the game.

I want to do an all golds run on this but I want the new white GTO LM from International C and I keep getting the other two colors.

so to get them what should I do since the demo already has all the proofs of all the licenses in gold? do I have to improve those driving license records? help!

If You play through the emulator, You can use the "stop race timer" cheat and get all the gold licenses with all bonus cars yourself.

The demo save doesn't have any gold licenses - it has them set to 'Kids Prize' which means they count as passed but there are no times set and no gold, silver or bronze medals awarded yet.

You can either gold the licenses yourself or use whichever cheats are available to get the prize cars - the 'stop timer' cheat mentioned above, a 'buy any car' cheat, or any other method that works.

  • How do I install the mod? Apply EITHER the Light or Complete .xdelta patch for that disc to a valid copy of any Gran Turismo 2 disc. Tutorials on how to apply xdelta patches are widely available on Youtube or elsewhere.
  • Does the mod work on a real Playstation console? Yes, it should, and the PAL version has been extensively tested on a Playstation.
  • Can I use my normal GT2 savegame? No, the patched game is not compatible with savegames from the base game, older GT2+ versions, or other patches, due to the added and updated content.
  • Are you going to remove the GT40 opponent in the Historic Cup? No, this was intentionally added by PD and is not a bug. It's also an interesting and characterful part of the game.
  • Are you going to add the Elise 'Soft Top'? No, this is an unfinished and broken version of the Elise already in the game.
  • Are you going to add drag racing? No, almost nothing exists of the drag racing mode and it was probably never created in the first place.
  • Are you going to add the CLK-GTR? No, this car never existed in any known version of the game, just a handful of renders.
  • Are you going to add the Silvia LM Edition or NSX GT1 Turbo? Yes, once it becomes possible to modify GT1 car models to work in GT2.
  • Are you going to add Special Stage Route 11? Yes, if it ever becomes possible to modify GT1 track models to work in GT2.
  • Are you going to change the performance of racecars to more closely match the real cars? Yes, if enough solid real data can be found on the cars. However, most race teams are very secretive, so the answer may be no for many cars.
  • Are you going to add a 60FPS mode? No, this is not possible to do with this mod, and the PS1 console does not have enough power to run the game at that framerate.
  • Are you going to increase the garage size? No, this is not possible, as there is only space in memory and in the savegame for 100 cars, and adding any more will overwrite critical data.
  • Are you going to change (a certain particular detail)? If it is a bug, yes. Otherwise, probably not, as this mod is focusing on bug fixes and restored content. There are many hundreds of fixes still to be done, so I don't have enough time to change arbitrary other things. However, mod tools will be made available so these changes can be made as other mods by other people.

Beta 5.1 - 26/07/2020 (bugfix release)
Beta 5 - 18/07/2020
Alpha 4.1 - 05/03/2019
Alpha 4 - 27/02/2019 (cancelled due to game limitations)
Alpha 3 - 10/07/2018
Alpha 2 - 18/05/2018
Alpha 1 - 18/05/2018 (internal test version)

All known GT2 discs are currently supported, and are all patched to have the same amount of content and features as the final PAL release.

Please select the appropriate version of the mod below for your version of the game.

Can you make a save file including all of the prize cars and some additional gt2 plus prize cars? I just learnt how to patch the rom file.

can you tell me a site where to find tricks to add to the emulator's cheat code and that they work? I know that I should add the various codes to the text file but the cvhe ones I found do not go while the basic ones that exit by pressing download work immediately .. the pec I can not install it ..do you need a gameshark to make the other cheats work?

I apologize and thank you for the availability of all of you .. in these days I have written 10 messages and asked 30 questions .. I understand and thank you

so to get them what should I do since the demo already has all the proofs of all the licenses in gold? do I have to improve those driving license records? help!
Ok, I created a save for PAL version 0.51. All gold licenses and associated bonus cars are open. Save for the PCSX-R emulator, for ePSXe it must be renamed to epsxe000 or epsxe001, depending on the slot You will be using.

Del Sol LM is indeed cool. That car is the whole reason I developed the skills to get golds on I-B, and eventually the other licenses.
yes in fact the sol LM and FTO LM are two demons ... I did the two hours of the laguna seca twice and both times they gave me the 3000 LM .. I would like to try the celica rally which if I'm not mistaken has 560 hp but continues to hide .. the others that for now I have never tried and are hiding are xanavi in the 300 GT and arta in the 500 GT .. I don't know why that damned tanaka keeps coming out in the 500 .. 20 times and only once did taisan viper come out .. but not even the shadow of arta

If you're playing on an emulator, you can save state just after you've finished your race, go see what car you've won, save, make a back-up of that save and then reload the save-state until you're getting the car you want.. You can duplicate the prize cars/colors by going then to main menu > trade > loading the backup MemCard in slot 2 and buy them - of course you'll need to farm the money to buy them yourself..

I've tried this for getting a specific license prize color but for some reason it didn't work with the license prizes when I tried.

Happend to me as well, it's probably how random chance really works like - Forgot what race it was, but the award car was the Cerbera LM Edition and I wanted the blue/grey one - got bored eventually after reloading the savestate for the millionth tim3 and ended up settling for the purple/grey as I was only getting that one or occasionally the green/grey one.. I had even tried loading states from just before the finish line, after crossing the line, after exiting the race but prior to hitting next (thus before the prize car is spawned/won in memory) but with no luck.. Sometimes I guess it just takes ages to get a specific outcomeo out of all the possible ones, being those 2, 3, 4, or more.. At one point I was even thinking that the "random seed" might be also affected somehow by the emulation itself through set factors like time and/or date, or who knows what other non dynamic factors.. I've no idea if that could be the case.

I assumed the car/color combo was determined as soon as you entered the event, not on car delivery.

The prize car/s & colors are generated I believe just after exiting the race and clicking "next", the moment you're getting the message that you've won a new car.

What about the licenses? I made a save state right before golding the final test and reloading there multiple times I always got the same prize color.

pezz2k do a 60fps mode on gt2 I will pay you for that :cheers::cheers::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Nah, I'm only joking :)

I created an account here just so that you nits can finally stop asking for 60fps mode

There already is a 60fps code floating around online. A little research would have shown you the way.

Keep in mind that it's a fixed speed 60fps code, the game will push a new frame only when it's finished processing all the calculations. What that means is that whatever hardware you're emulating the game on at whatever settings/resolution/filters you have it set on better be capable of giving you a constant 60fps for this game. Because if it can only maintain say 40fps; then you'll find that the game will run at 2/3rds its speed.

And forget about using the code on a real PS1, for that exact reason - it's hard enough for it just to maintain 30fps. Ditto PSP and PS2; they run PS1 games with no more power than a real PS1. Not sure about PS3 or PS Vita. Android or computer you'll definitely be fine.

Anyway Japanese version Simulation Disc 60fps:
E01D5CC4 0002
301D5CC4 0001

US 1.2 version Simulation Disc 60fps:
E01D5864 0002
301D5864 0001

Also try changing the 1 at the end of the 2nd line to a 2, at least in GT 1 that gives you 120fps. Haven't tried with GT 2 though.

So, have fun

Haven't tried with the licenses yet, but I would assume that it's the same as with the races.

This code is weird. I tried it on the US version, the car goes slowly like slow motion. And in rally races, the rival generally turns around and goes in the opposite direction.
