Diagnosed with dementia (FTD) in 2015, and seemingly his primary cause of death.

Of course, he may just be resting...

Very sad news, I follow Michael Palin on some social media, it's been quite sad to see Jones's slow battle with dementia through his posts. Neil Innes died last Decemeber also, he contributed quite a bit to what I think of now when I think about Python. :(

So sad to hear that the world has finally lost the great Terry Jones.

John Lloyd once said ‘If John Cleese was the head of Python, Terry Jones was the heart’...

    :(

I knew he was ill but I'm so sad to hear that he has passed away. I credit Monty Python for forming my rather warped sense of humor from an early age when I first saw them here in the US in the 70's on PBS. I have their boxed set, love their movies, watch anything on tv that involves them.

A friend of mine used to work with Alison Telfer, Terry Jones’s ex-wife. He told me that the first time he met Terry was the same day that he had filmed the infamous Mr. Creosote sketch for ‘The Meaning Of Life’ movie in 1983. My mate remembered Jones explaining what the scene involved and everybody else thought it sounded absolutely revolting, but my mate thought it sounded hilarious. I guess they were all correct...

It's brilliant but.... it ignores what the Pythons said about Brian all along :D

In the words of John Cleese, "two down, four to go."
