Most Hated/Loved Corner In GT?

My most hated corner has got to be the complex of turns 16 to 18 on Cape Ring. The chicane at the end really is a right pain in the 🤬.

My favourite is either the first left-right or downhill right-left chicanes on Route 5. There's something quite satisfying about getting them right.

Favorites:
Casio Triangle (Suzuka)
Turns 6-7 (Tokyo)
Karussel (Nordscliefe)
Ford Curves (La Sarthe)

Hated:
Paddock Hill (Brands Hatch)
Panasonic Corner (Fuji)
Kumho Curve (Nurburgring GP/F)
Turn 13 (Trial Mountain)

Hated:
The fast left before Aremberg.
Eau Rouge
Schumacher S
Paddock Hill
1st corner of the big Matterhorn
Spoon Corner

Favourites:
Corners 1-4 Eiger
First S in the Nurb Sudcheleife
Degner Curves
Casio Triangle
Karussel

Hated corners:
Everything at the Nordschleife!!! Not favorable at all!!!

Favorites:
The banked corner near the finish line at High Speed Ring
The entrance corner to the other side in Special Stage Route 7

My favorite corner, or section of corners I should say, has always been the sweeping left-hander into the tunnel at trial mountain, followed by the straightaway and a wide sweeping left-hander. Trial mountain forever.

My least favorite is that damn carousel at the nurburgring. I normally have to go slow to avoid spinning out, or just avoid the whole bank all together. Only one time in my life did I really nail that corner perfectly, and it was with a ferrari f40.

This is kinda funny because I was wondering since there are so many corners at the nurburgring, if anybody acually knows what every single corner is called. They're all german words and are difficult to remember. So, I started giving my own names to corners and there's one near the end of the course that I like to call Hitler's Elbow lmao.

Loved:
- The first left at Apricot Hill after the straight (Really a two part turn)
- The last two rights before the straight at Grand Valley
-The Esses at Le Mans
- The very technical downhill sector of Mount Panorama
- Ascari at Monza

Hated:
- Pretty much the entire Willow Springs (Big Willow) circuit. Especially the last two turns.
- Really not a fan of the last sector at Fuji, or the track as a whole honestly.

Love/Hate:
- Turn 1 at Brands Hatch. I love the feel of the turn but I hate how difficult it is to get it right.
- Carousel at the Nurburgring. So legendary and unique, but a real pain to get through it.

That's quite the list. Comprehensive but simple too.
It's had me driving laps in my head to identify where you're talking about.
I agree with some & disagree with others but love/hate is an individual thing.

Favourite: Turns 2, 3 & 4 complex at London.
Least Favorite: Nordschleife T35 (At least that's what I counted in my head, its the 3rd corner after the really tight hairpin around halfway into the lap. The steep, sharp corner to the right.)

Least Favourite: The first corner of Apricot Hill Forward, The bumpy curves in Nurburgring (forgot the corner name)

Favourite: Special Stage Route 5's first corner... Getting in that tunnel always seems to kinda, "blow me away" of sorts.

Hated
Spoon Curve - Suzuka
Degner Curve - Suzuka
Breidscheid - Nurburgring Nordschleife

Loved
Prima Variante - Monza 80s
Variante del Rettifilo - Monza (replaced Prima)
Curva Grande - Monza
Variante della Roggia - Monza
Curva di Lesmo - Monza
Curva del Serraglio - Monza
Variante Ascari - Monza
Curva Parabolica - Monza
(Seeing a theme here?)
Eau Rouge - Spa-Francorchamps
Flugplatz - Nurburgring Nordschleife
Pouhon to Stavelot - Spa-Francorchamps
Schwedenkreuz - Nurburgring Nordschleife

The set of super high-speed scorners between the main straight and finish line of the Nordschleife almost always give me trouble, and Paddock Hill Bend (Turn 1 of Brands Hatch) is a pain to get right.

My most loved corners? I'm not sure, there are many that I like, but I'd say that The Corkscrew from Laguna Seca and the first tunnel corner of SSR5 are some obvious choices.

I might be the opposit of you. I love Paddock Hill Bend. I very rarely get it right, but when I do and you fly into the hairpin at high speed, the feeling is wonderful. Just hitting that Turn 1 perfectly makes the rest of the lap seem ordinary even though Brands Hatch is anything but!

I'm not a big fan of The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca in this game. Yes, it is supposed to be difficult. I know that. Yet, I often wonder how accurate it truly is modelled. So often suspension is bottoming out and getting the car all upset and I just don't see the fluidity I expect quite often. When I watch real life racers take that turn they seem to have a much better planted car as it goes through compared to my experiences.

I hate the left turn before the chicane at Spa (T17 or T18 depending on which map you look at) no matter if I take it fast or slow I cannot get it right!

I love so many it's hard to choose! But I've always had a thing for the corkscrew at Laguna!

My favorite corner is the Schwedenkreuz on the good 'ol Green Hell. There's something so exhilarating about going through that turn flat-out in a stock Mazda Miata. I love it so much.

I have a lot of trouble with the Karussell. I don't necessarily hate it, but I don't like it that much either.

That's easy. It's still the only corner at Nurburgring Nordschleife that regularly trips me up.

The Karussell

You have such a tiny bit of track to work with. If you're a foot too high, you'll slide to the outside. If you're a lil' too fast, you'll slide to the outside. If you're a little to hard on the throttle, your tail will step out and you'll slide to the outside. It's just so unforgiving but so amazingly satisfying to nail on a strong lap.

Curse you Karussell, you'll always be my nemesis.

Still remains to be my hate to love, love to hate corners.
