I actually had a scary situation with a wild animal....two actually!!, one time when me and my buddy where out camping we were hiking along a trail, and suddenly we see a black bear quite a far bit down the trail, the bear notices us, pauses and walks off into the bush (there are trees on both sides of the path, quite dense) we are a little worried, but since we are going in a big circle, the fastest way back to camp is to continue on forward, so we walk for like 5 minutes and no sighn of the bear, just as we are coming up to the camp it sounds like someone is behind us, so we turn around, to find the bear about 10 ft behind us, and obviously we are not going to run...well because then he would try to attack us, we just stand there facing him, he takes a few steps forward, stopes and just turns aroud and trots off into the trees, (he was a younger, probably a teenage bear, and my buddy is a 220lbs 6,ft 4 football player) so i guess he decided not to try anything, but later that day we found out that when a bear is actually going to attack a person, he spots them, runs off into the trees, bush etc. and attacks them from behind! and if you get in that situation, the only thing you can do is fight back!! (black bear, do that to a grizzly and you are dead) so that was very scary!! and well the other one is not near as bad, just very startling,
it was while I was staying at a cabin near the mountains (same area as before) and it was in the morning i was woken up by a large clatter, and my bed was right near a sliding glass door, so i peak through the blinds, and my whole view is taken up by a huge bear ass! this time it was a HUGE grizzly bear, he was looking through the garbage, he never noticed me, so i closed the blinds and made sure the door was locked, and I mean, this thaing was absolutly MASSIVE!!!! i have never seen such a large bear, but i guess when you are looking at it from my angle, it may seem lager at the time!

and at that point my little brotherasks what is all the noise, so I told him it was squirrels on the roof

and he went back to bed...meanwhile i went into my dads backpack and got the bear spray....just in case....but like 2 minutes later he took off.
so i have had quite the encounters! but its probably because I spend alot of time camping ,hiking and fishing up in the mountain area...I have other stories...but I have been typing for too long...so I will if people ask me!
