Expedition Motorsports 911 RSR GTE - AM

I'm getting all giddy before posting this one. Probably because it looks slick as all hecc. Here's my first post where I'm graduating to using scapes rather than the livery editor's default background. What we have here is the fictional FIA WEC - AM entry from Expedition motorsports. They're sort of a "third party" team for Porsche, so there's still some factory sponsorship but there's still some room for divergence from the PRO livery sponsors.

The red camo on this one is inspired by a Porsche 911 R-GT that raced in 2015, while the colour scheme is obviously inspired by Porsche's Le Mans efforts.

Without further ado, here's the images and the links:

Go ahead, follow the link and give this beauty a spin in-game. The photos never do the real thing justice in a three dimensional space. Also, I'll see you guys soon with another livery!

Webasto - Ferrari 458 GT3

Here's the next drop of the Autumn livery set. This one is another semi-replica of a render like the Aston Martin. I feel like using a design as inspiration and building off of it with my own ideas has been doing me a lot better lately than straight replicas (I get bored of those easily) or sitting around with writer's block.

88D953F8-692C-48FD-9A1E-41CF38EF1C8B.jpeg

This livery is a semi-replica of Atlantic Motorsport’s Ferrari 458 from IRacing. They’re a Swedish team, however all my liveries forgo country flags so anyone can use them.

Anyways, moving on to the livery itself. It's just another random sponsor I grabbed off the discover tab. I usually go to there once a day to check if there's any good logos or number plates that people have posted. Luckily today there was a good logo for Webasto: an automotive/machinery parts business. I combined that with some Michelin and Denso to create a series of atypical sponsors that weren't likely to be used on other liveries. You can only do so many Pirelli and Ray-Ban sponsored Ferrari's before you start getting bored.

If you're interested in "copping" this livery, you can do so from the link below. Cheers!

Bilstein Suspension - Honda NSX Gr.3

Livery 3 of the Autumn Set. This time it's a pretty simple idea. I took the colours I recently used for my BMW M6 GTLM Bilstein replica livery from Project CARS 2 and I slapped them on an NSX GT3. Sprinkle in a hearty dose of Aston Martin and you have yourself a nice original for the Gr.3 Honda that will look good racing just about anywhere.

I've really impressed myself with these last few ones. I feel like I'm reaching a new peak quality that I haven't seen before from my work. I don't plan on halting my development anytime soon though, so stay tuned for more of my work.

Again, if you have requests, feel free to ask. It seems I'm almost always running out of creativity when I start the livery editor.

ANKER Mobile #30 / BURN Racing #123 Lexus RC-F GT3 Prototype '16

ANKER MOBILE: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gtsport/user/notifications/livery/1204631/1/4684328555336696376

Burn racing is back for a second revamp! This livery was quite an old one in my opinion and needed to be updated immediately. I updated the Burn livery as part of my "revamped" series a while back, but this one is a completely new take. Although I updated the original livery (one of my first ones ever) with all the techniques I had learned up to that point, it still wasn't enough to satisfy me with the white base and simplistic orange boarder. Thus, as completely new version has arrived.

20181001161312.jpg

This version features a much lighter scheme overall accented by bold, contrasting black and red highlights. The flip-floppy orange and yellow sections have been replaced by a layer of semi-transparent shard decals in orange, combined with the real car paint Bright Yellow to give the illusion of a flaming base. In layman's terms, it looks like it's burning, living up to the sponsor's name. This time, the car is prepped for the ADAC N24 race with yellow headlights and the correct window banner. The number is stolen from Kaz's Nissan GT-R GT3.

20181001161241.jpg

The numbers used take a switch from Futjisubo, Pertamina and others to some you'd commonly see on a Lexus like TRD and Denso. H&R was also included to give the car that German N24 feel.

But wait! That's not all, this time it's joined by a sister livery. It's the ANKER Mobile version:

20181001161250.jpg

Fun Fact: Anker Mobile makes the Pokeball peripheral for Pokémon Go!

The story here goes that in an attempt to challenge the famed Nürburgring 24 hours race, the team was in need of some additional funding. Thus, they pooled their resources with the struggling ANKER Mobile racing team to secure additional resources. The result was a merger of the two teams that ended in each car sharing the same livery with their company's respective colours. So two different cars can be seen running in two different series with the same livery because of a merger with their racing teams.

20181001161301.jpg

I hope you enjoyed the 4th livery of my Autumn series. This one is one of my favourite liveries due to the texture present on it. Both versions can be downloaded using links found at the top of the post. Until next time, stay tuned!

Speaking of the Nürburgring, I finally got a livery done that's been bothering me for quite a while. I had this one planned for a week or so but now I've gotten it ready for this thread finally. This is another fictional Nürburgring endurance entry that's a semi-replica. It's based on the R8 LMS Cup showcase livery. However, the design of the shards have been altered and it's been adapted for use in another racing series. The sponsors have also been changed to reflect more of the ones you'd see at the Nürburgring itself.

8152088184587585044_0.jpg

The front view at Fuji reveals the yellow headlights compliant with GT endurance regs. This version is an R8 from the N24 so it has extra fog lights unlike the cup car for traversing adverse weather conditions.

8151525227656938012_0.jpg

I wonder if having Audi Tire Centre, Audi Sport Customer Racing, and Audi Sport itself on the same livery is conflicting at all?

Here it is racing at the Nürburgring, the R8's home territory. I could see this racing in real life in one of the endurance races at some point in history.

8143080987482423828_0.jpg

The Audi Tire Centre R8 is probably the most realistic of the fictional series entries I've ever done. (Probably because it is a real one, just re-tooled for racing elsewhere). I hope you enjoyed the 5th livery of my fall collection, and the next one is coming up soon so stay tuned!

Here’s probably what will be one of the final liveries of the Autumn set. This one is based on the Honda F1 cars of the late 2000s right before Brawn GP took over. However it’s not really inspired by anything from the actual cars themselves. The only thing taken from the F1 car is the logo and masked logos. Everything else is custom built specially for the NSX.

4431C1D9-FE6F-47F4-803A-04A42B706D15.jpeg

Some features of the livery include Iena Coffee as a primary sponsor. The simple text looks really good over the earthen background. Bridgestone is the main tire sponsor for the NSX, with Potenza logos found throughout the car too. Throw in some small car-related sponsors like Castrol, Mugen and Inteva, then we have a complete livery that’s ready to take on the Super GT.

(If you look closely, you may even find Kumamon-chan)

E0F68497-5D15-4D35-AB0B-27D8C5CFEE56.jpeg

So there it is, the ugly F1 livery that I love reborn for Super GT.

Last but not least, the full view of the livery from all angles. This little feature found on the GT website is quite awesome.

Hey! You guys love Vocaloid? I sure don't. So here's a livery featuring one.

7358886266548552204_0.jpg

So who is this lovely girl? I hear you ask, you hopeless suitor. She's Ruka/Luka Megurine from the Vocaloid voice synthesis software. Yes, she is an anthropomorphic text-to-speech application. Thanks Google.

I started off researching some shapes in the game Project CARS 2. I was checking out some of the liveries available for the KTM Crossbow GT4 of all cars. Then I found one that I quite liked. This doesn't really have anything to do with that livery anymore after all the crap I did to it. Aside from the stripe layout on the front (which isn't even that similar anymore), almost everything is custom made for this livery.

7358886267085424140_0.jpg

What you see in the photo above is the crap first edition. This one is outdated and the newer one that you'll be downloading features a wider rear stripe to match the front, the default number plate to give it the mandatory rear number and additional Advan sponsors flanking the Perrin logo.

5837241345053328400_0.jpg

Here it is getting chased down by far more competent DTM cars...

And finally, you can find the full view below with all the juicy detail exposed. (no, not the cartoon girl you pervert!)

4981618986422632992_1.png

So I'm really pumped about this one. Pink has never looked so good on one of my cars. It's not a colour I'd usually use but for this car it simply looks amazing (to me). So yeah, feel free to download and maybe next time I'll make a rendition about something I don't enjoy again because it's actually kinda fun. See ya!

Since it’s the first days of winter, what better way to celebrate than to start the next season of liveries. This time we have two at once though, so there’s some options to choose from. Both liveries from this set also feature layering as a common theme between them.

EC60B83E-73D2-4262-924D-58F0C605B85A.jpeg

The first livery up today is the Red Bull Honda NSX Gr.3. This one features a really nice deep red chrome effect for the bull from the paint chip that was available this week.

C3A30722-98BC-4E0A-B773-2312E7FECA07.jpeg

The red chrome is the base layer, since it’s the only place you can use chrome. What followed is a line-version of the bull overtop to give the white outline. The blue layer was then placed around the bull, tracing the still exposed red chrome.

852DBEFB-2D71-4E53-9588-A5EBD1F8B977.jpeg

Overtop of the blue layer, a series of white stripes and a tearing effect were added to give the livery some extra pop. Then some sponsors were added such as Alpha Bank, Pirelli, Mobil 1 and more. The number plate is a custom one I designed to fit this car, so it can’t be used in Sport Mode.

83A14BD7-9E82-4EE3-B253-B42FDCED8FEB.jpeg

The next livery up is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. This one features a scaly blue-on-blue pattern underneath the white top layer.

9EAFE206-2298-4805-9839-89D9DFC6058A.jpeg

Look closely and you can see the scaling for yourself in this image. The area around the front grille was surrounded with white, which blends in nicely with the rest of the white. Keihin was chosen as the main sponsor for this livery due to the stripe overtop of the logo matching the rest of the striping on this design.

88603E42-D896-4056-A39C-172BE296A27B.jpeg

On the backside of the livery. The area between the taillights was filled in black to give it a carbon-like appearance. Sponsorship for this livery includes Bilstein, H&R, Enkei, Aston Martin Racing, Elf and more.

So, there are the first two liveries of the winter set. I hope you enjoy them and watch out for more over the coming months.

This one’s a bit of a quicker update to the thread. It’s the first serious livery I’ve made all year. Started with a black base and decided a good red/white combo would go well on top. I also tried getting a little geometric on the side but you guys can be the judges of that yourselves.

0AFAB5DF-9779-4C3D-A270-AF950AF79C15.png

Side view is here. The number plate dominates the sponsor-friendly areas so I’ve added a smaller MoTec logo to the sides. Also some other car-related sponsors such as PFC and so on. Hopefully none of them conflict.

Tires on this car are Advan-Yokohama tires and Rays rims. The car also comes equipped with tow, extinguisher and engine cut decals.

It’s ready to go racing, and you can be too if you decide to download it from the link below the title of this post. Feel free to check out the rest of my stuff while you’re there and thank you for viewing my liveries. Until next time!

Three new liveries that I've developed within the last month are available to download here. There's one selection from each class in descending order. Gr1, 2 and 3. Click the smaller thumbnail image to access the download page.

Here is a livery that took an incredible amount of time and effort to pull together, which used both the 2016 R18 and R8 LMS as references to replicate the 2016 Audi Sport livery onto the E-Tron VGT.

This one is an original creation in the vein of an Audi factory livery from the 2021 World Endurance Championship’s new GT1 Hybrid class. Audi returns to the sport after their abandonment of the P1 class due to the more cost-effective nature of the new class.

These photos taken from the press launch event in Le Mans show the old 2016 R18 taking to the track with its successor. Major sponsors Michelin, Castrol, Oris Watches and Mahle return to the team.

E-Tron GT1 will be joined on the grid of the 2021 race by several privateer R8 Evo GT3 cars after the fall of GTE due to those works teams shifting their focus toward the newly created GT1 class.

Here’s the newest completely original livery in my collection as of now. I used the Lexus RC-F Prototype as the base for a new livery as I have two of them now. This livery features some typical Toyota sponsors and is compatible with Sport Mode.

2C08B09D-FE17-4AB8-8A26-A156FBB30EF2.jpeg

The Arizona scapes location here made an excellent shooting location due to the edited red contours that match the livery.

The white and black segments of the livery are broken up by thin red lines that follow the lines of the car. This gives the livery a really nice “traced” look. There is also a red digital pattern along the roof and hood over top of a dark grey stripe. The car features driver names, safety stickers and Sport Mode plates.

4C98B704-A7C4-4849-B75C-BFE2E85FEAD8.jpeg

Around back, the philosophy stays consistent throughout the livery of traced bodywork. Secondary sponsors are typical Toyota fare including Gazoo Racing, TRD and Denso. The rims used on this livery are Motegi Racing centre locking rims. Michelin tires wrap said rims.

- The March Update -
Zesto Renault R.S. 01 GT3 / Dunlop Racing McLaren F1 GTR / Wake Up, Girls! Audi R8 GT300

No, I'm not going to pull a Polyphony and wait a month in between every thread update, but for this one I decided it would just be best to throw them all out in one big post as I haven't updated here since late February. I have three liveries from Group 3 here ready to go, with my lesser projects this month following soon in smaller updates going into April. Let's get started.

- Wake Up, Girls! Racing Audi R8 GT300 #6 -

7206345527849387036_0.jpg

Headlining this month's update is this Itasha livery I developed for the Audi R8 LMS inspired by the idol anime Wake Up, Girls!. It's a fictional entry into the Japanese Super GT series' GT300 class. I tried to make it look as realistic and clean as possible in response to many Itasha on sport going for eye-rape or incredibly loud patterns instead of visual clarity.

The character here is Miyu Okamoto, the colour scheme of her outfit is what inspired the colours of the car, the white and blue threads with the orange neck tie. There's a bit of yellow on her hat and buttons but I couldn't figure out how to work that into the livery without ruining the look so I kept it to two colours only. Main sponsors here include Toyo Tires, Total, BBS, Takata and a couple more. The livery features engine cut and extinguisher decals. This livery is also compatible with Sport Mode, so the plates get covered when entering a race online.

I don't know if you've ever seen this render before, but it's one of the first things to come up when searching for the R.S. 01 on Google Images. This blue, Alpine-looking render from back when the car was just a concept. To add to the nostalgia, the Le Mans plates on it are pretty outdated too. Anyways, I loved the design so I adapted, modernized and released it on GT Sport.

The R.S. 01 never ended up going to Le Mans, but at least it did survive the one-make series to become a GT3 car in certain series. Perhaps if GTE collapsed or merged with GT3, it could have been? Anyways, the car features WEC, DHL, AM, and everything you need to go endurance racing. However, this makes the livery NOT compatible with Sport Mode.

- Dunlop Racing McLaren F1 GTR #30 -

6124970343783237144_0.jpg

This one is a completely original livery for the McLaren F1 GTR. This one needed a good design other than the quick Advan one I threw together to go racing the night this update came out. (That one will most likely come in one of the smaller updates)

The base here is a Digi-cam with grey, black, white and yellow flakes. The camo is then layed under a series of typical F1 GTR panelling stripes in pure white, outlined in black for a little bit of extra definition. The logos appearing on the camo'd surfaces have the same black outlining, giving the livery a sense of continuity. Major sponsors include Dunlop, Gridsport, H&R, FIA, Sparco and others. The livery is also adorned with British flags because McLaren. The car has modern centre-locking rims and engine safety decals for Group 3 competition. This livery is compatible with Sport Mode, so go win some races in it.

So that's it for this set of liveries, stay tuned over the next week or two for some smaller updates.

Can't help but your WUG R8 design (at least from the side) looked pretty similar to some guy's VTuber R8...

Also, your usage of Toyo Tires as the tyre supplier for your R8 made me wish that Toyo, Pirelli, and even Goodyear could supply tyres for Super GT. Falken and Firestone are a bit of a stretch because they are from the same group as Dunlop and Bridgestone respectively. Err, maybe Pirelli wouldn't bother with SGT due to matters with Blancpain GT Asia and Super Taikyu, perhaps...

@RZQSPEED Could you kindly tuck your post into a spoiler please? I don’t like it when people post images in this thread that aren’t mine because they vandalize it.

Yeah, that’s a crappy thing to forget about, giving credit, so I’ll fix that in my post. Thanks for reminding me. I’ve done that before even on this thread so I don’t know why that escaped me this time.

Edit: fixed, and I’ve also started a thread asking about similar questions to this one.

Done.

About the sides of the R8, yeah, that’s the livery I drew inspiration from when making my version. I started with the roof, front bumper, rear and hood but I couldn’t figure out anything for the side. I tried coming up with stuff for an hour and then eventually I went to the discover tab for inspiration and found a cool split-tier design that I wanted to use. I only looked at that livery once so besides the design of the stripes on the sides, stuff like sponsor placement and other parts of the car are purely coincidental.

So yeah, 70% original design but I got stuck and copied somebody’s homework. Pretty crappy thing to do in hindsight. Maybe I can stick a reference in my post somewhere but I doubt they’re ever going to see this or even understand me if I asked for permission. Maybe I’ll go back to the drawing board with that one but I couldn’t come up with anything on my own the first time around.
We all have to find inspiration sometimes to finish our projects...

This is the first post of the smaller updates I promised to keep updating the thread with leading up to April. This time we have a wholly original livery in the Snap-On Mitsubishi Lancer. This livery is mainly black and features a flowing series of white and red areas on the sides of the car which are outlined in red yet again. The car features Alpinestars as a larger sponsor, with H&R, Apex oil and Rays being minor sponsors. The car has custom number plates but it is compatible with Sport Mode. The rear of the car isn't much to look at, it's pretty much just solid black with some red and white bordering.

So that's it for today's update, stick around for more posts to come in the next couple of days.

So, the new Formula car is here, but it's not quite an F1 car. No, what we got instead is the Dallara SF19 Super Formula car, the top level of open-wheel racing (or racing in general) in Japan. The chassis shares a lot of similarities with the Dallara Formula 2 car, but there are several additions such as the super fun boost feature for overtaking. So, this is certainly not a Formula 1 car, but that's not going to stop determined and impatient fans of the sport from slapping whatever team's livery they want on to this car from an incorrect series. The solution? Fiction.

If you can instill a sense of believability into your fictional livery, that's one of the keys to success in my opinion. That means taking inspiration from what's come before. In this case, the livery of a real Driver Academy racer Antonio Fuoco was used as a base. His car's design that's being used in the 2019 Formula 2 season is a very good looking livery for what essentially is a Ferrari junior team. The black sections with the white boarder being very reminiscent of the old Ferrari F138 from 2013.

5116745669105681944_0.jpg

The addition of some sponsors to the livery that are already involved with Ferrari proper add to the believability. Familiar names like Mission Winnow (who don't just sponsor Ferrari, mind you.), Kaspersky Labs, and Pirelli. Even some sponsors that appear on Formula 2 cars make it here like Modena Cars. The car is equipped with Engine Cut decals in the correct places and even two small Scuderia Ferrari shields on the sidepod extensions.

So, this Ferrari Driver's Academy livery is ready to prove to everyone that you're the next hot stuff should you choose to equip it to your Toyota model SF19. Please enjoy and I'll see you again soon with another livery.

I don't have anything too incredibly huge to post here. It's just a new livery for my personal fictional racing team for if they ever want to delve into a Group 1 race. I went with the 908 as it's my favourite real prototype in the game despite not being a hybrid or VGT model. I think it strikes a pretty good balance between the electrically motivated hybrids and the older Group C cars.

The colour scheme was based on the old Audi R8 Team Playstation prototype from previous games, but that's about it. I just went with what I thought looked the best after that. Total is the main fuel supplier and the car runs on Michelin rubber. There are a bunch of other smaller non-conflicting sponsors as well.

This livery is an original creation that was inspired by the shapes of the Barwell Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3. I wanted a livery that would look at home in the GT300 class of the Super GT so I made this. Add in a little bit of SEGA's puzzle game Puyo Pop and you have what you see in front of you. For this post I'm reverting back to the livery editor scene because I think it demonstrates this livery the best.

It's just an incredibly fun livery that features all of the sponsors and decal placement you need for a Super GT entry. I tried to include more Japanese sponsors in this livery such as Tiger Enterprises, for example. The car also features Yokohama rubber on Enkei rims. In compliance with Super GT, the number is also added to the rear of the car.

The character featured on the car is Draco from Puyo Pop, as such the logo of the game features on the front bumper, rear bumper and rear wing. The red mad Puyo is also included in some spots because aggression or something. Draco's modern artwork is featured on both sides of the Huracan, with her old sprite being cheekily placed in the giant hood cavity. The overall colouring of the car is red, inspired by both Madfactory and Draco, but also features green accenting referencing her hair and wing colour.

I think that about covers it for this update. It's a pretty fun livery and I hope you enjoy.

Porsche: https://www.gran-turismo.com/gb/gts...lery/all/livery/1204631/1/8511803308825937440

From now on, or at least for a little bit, all of my liveries will be showcased using this scapes format. I might try some variation in the future but for now, I'm sticking with this as it's the best angle and can allow for some cool colour effects in the background.

- Porsche 962 Hybrid '17 -

First up is the Porsche. Rothmans is boring and overrated so I decided to throw the 2017 919 Hybrid livery onto my 962. I think the ol' shoebox does the new livery a good look. Personally, I used a couple of reference images and I hope the logos on the rear wing endplates turned out alright. I also forgot to copy the C decal from one side to the other on this one, but the livery already has 30 likes so you'll just have to deal with it. Perhaps a V2 will come sometime within the near future once V1 has run out of steam.

- Toyota Supra WEC Privateer Entry #111 -

8080035058944082444_0.jpg

The second livery here is a Toyota Supra livery that features a privateer entry into the 2022 World Endurance Championships. The car is number 111 and is primarily sponsored by Akebono. The car features what was supposed to be a TS020 inspired tiger stripe pattern but I decided to go with grey because I thought it would look different and clash less with the sponsor decals. I also added two giant Toyota logos above the rear wheel arches because why not? The wing support struts have been painted as well for some reason.

So there's the April 2-pack. I really like both of these liveries and I hope that you do as well. Feel free to download them using the links below the main title.
