What is the Livery Dump Plaza?

I'm MisterWaffles (not in real life), and the Livery Dump Plaza is a space for me to share all my creative work with you. Here, I'll post all of my favourite designs, both replicas and original (sometimes a bit of both), for you to browse. Each post is equipped with a dedicated download link that leads straight to my gallery. Nothing too incredibly fancy here, just a place for a hobbyist and sim racing enthusiast to share his work of varying quality.

What can you do for me?

Do you need a livery for a league? Looking for a new Sport Mode design? I can make liveries for any of you who need help creating a livery for any sort of league or race you might have in the future. I try to keep decal placement as realistic as possible and I can adapt to any constraints your racing league might have. Just shoot me a PM on PSN (Pyano1132) or here on GTPlanet and I can get started hopefully in a timely fashion! Of course I don't charge, this isn't real life racing and I'm not the Lord of the Editor or anything.

See any designs you like in my existing catalogue? Just ask and I'll completely do it up again for whatever brand or series you need it for.

No need to give credit or ask for permission either! My crap is here to be used, so go ahead and use it to your heart's content.

Do you have any basic tips for starting out?

There are a lot of people on GT Sport who have a lot of potential in their designs but mess up the smaller details. Always remember to research your main sponsor and make sure to keep any competing companies off the car completely. Research the way decals are placed on cars in real life, which areas specific types of sponsors are placed on the most and so on. Make sure to use the appropriate wheel type, center-locking rims for Gr.3 cars and above is a must, unless your livery really banks on a certain wheel design.

Above all, keep it simple and clean. Start out with simple stripes and shapes and build in complexity from there. Try layering different colours on top of each other after that. Don't forget to eliminate bleeding by using your depth and angle limits!

Wilwood Disk Brakes #30 - Peugeot RCZ Gr.3
Tags: Wilwood, Peugeot, GT3

Here's the first one of the bunch. This specific livery and it's #31 variation are collectively my most liked liveries on my menu. The Blue/Yellow 31 has many more likes than this one though, for some odd reason. I'll post the base livery here, and I'll slip in a mention of the alternate scheme in the last part of this post. The design of this specific livery in general draws from the brushmarks of the logo itself.

Honda #19 - Honda NSX Gr.3
Tags: Honda, Simple, Hankook

Here's a quick factory livery I made for the Honda NSX. I quite like the way it turned out. Perhaps some other designs would have made it a tad more interesting. I thought the Orange added a little pop to the already existing colours of the Japanese flag.

Here's one with a little tongue-in-cheek title (a poke at how people are going to abuse the uploader and flood it with anime). My goal here was to create a livery that was purely monochrome like the character I uploaded. I don't know who this character is or what franchise it is, I found it in a google search. I was drawn to the image due to her seeming to strike the GT Sport avatar's "Aw yeah, we got this" pose. (comparison in a minute)

This SVG file took me two days to get uploaded because it was too big, so eventually I just gave up reducing it, cut the file in half and glued it back together in the livery editor. It worked, and now I'm here to share this with you.

This livery is my personal favourite so far, and my main livery I'll be using in sport mode.

It's not going to win any complexity awards, it's just the fact that I like the look of it that counts.

NGK #20 - Porsche 911 RSR '17
Tags: Endurance, NGK, Porsche

Here's my first venture into layering decals on top of each other. This gives the car a two-tone appearance of Lime and White while adding waves and red borders for contrast. I need to updated the number plates to the Zurich 24hr plates now. This one's a little out of date ever since more user decals have been popping up.

Most liveries you see on the RSR are way more advanced than this one, but it's the practice that counts, right?

I know that they warned me that I don't have to like everything, but I must push that like button in this thread! :embarrassed: Fantastic liveries! All of them!

Thanks a lot, I'm afraid that the simplicity of my designs are too little to stack up to the crazy things you see around the forums, but this is just the first wave. They get better from here!

Schroth Racing #30 - Shelby Cobra 427 '66

7062208338735432200_23.jpg

MrWaflz55 here back with the next livery in my showcase. This is the #30 Schroth Racing Shelby Cobra 427 from 1966. This is a livery I'll be using for any classic racing lobbies or one-makes online. The base colour is a large flake dark green from the mileage exchange. Certain parts were painted yellow to match the Schroth Racing logo and to pay homage to the classic Lotus F1 team. The area around the front grill and side exhaust pipes were painted yellow in reference to the Lotus 38 from the Indy 500. The wheels were the oldest looking things I had within the rims section. Other sponsors featured are Goodyear, Havoline, Michigan Automobile Club and some other classic-esque logos. Feel free to download using the tags Lotus, Cobra or ClassicRacing (the easiest to find it).

Sprite #775 - Jaguar F-Type Gr.3
Tags: "Sprite", "Softdrink", "Blue"

A quick livery I drew up for my F-Type that was in desperate need of one. This is something pretty American for a British car. I think the base blue I used for this was a pretty good shade to match the logo, and the teal outlines help break up the blue and white. The number for the plate is quite large, but oh well... :dopey:

Epson #30 - Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo Gr.3
Tags: "Epson", "Waves", "Waflz".

Next, onto the Toyota FT-1 and my favourite livery I've made so far period. It's another white base livery but I absolutely love the shades of blue on this one. Blue is my favourite colour after all. I'd probably run this livery if I had an actual GT3 car in real life. Speaking of that, I love the Toyota FT-1 Gr.3! The LFA never got a GT3 version which disappointed me, but this is like Toyota's answer to that. The engine goes over 9,500RPM. Pretty crazy!
If you're wondering, the vents over the wheel arches I painted myself.

That's because I recently found out that things only stick around on the discover tab for a short period. I'll add a link to my gallery in the OP.

Or I Willmend you a friend request that makes it easier. My psn vlogo.

Or you can post it in the gallery forum here on gtplanet.net

PERTAMINA - IPF #30 - Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3

Here's the most liked livery I've ever made. Surpassing my Wildwood Disk Brakes livery in a mere 48 hours as my most liked so far. (42 likes, thanks guys!) I personally think this is my favourite made so far too. The character on the side I didn't know so I had to get a commenter to tell me who it was. Anyways, the character is Madoka Kaname from Puelli Magi Madoka Magica if I remember correctly. I watched it all on Netflix. Good series, very trippy and creepy. You can download this one through the link in the OP or the post above this one.

Gulf Fictional Livery #30 - McLaren 650S GT3

Here's a livery I made for fun. Not too original or thoughtful at that. I tried using a darker shade of blue than your typical Gulf teal or baby blue. I really like how it turned out with the orange outlines and orange rings around the wheels. It's a nice design that flows around the body in my opinion. Link to pick it up for yourself is down below... (original "spidy" PS3 sponsors were an odd choice but they're there so deal with it)

Bridgestone Blizzak Tyres #30 - Lamborghini Huracan GT3

This Lamborghini is ready to tackle the non-existent snow and ice of GT Sport! This livery is made using the Bridgestone Blizzak tyres logo (the actual car runs Potenza line tyres) and an interesting blue-to-black gradient design. The logos on the sides have been doubled up for some added oomph (I guess). There is also a multiple line pattern separating the black from the blue It really sticks out towards the back which I enjoy quite a bit. The front facia has been surrounded by the typical Huracan GT3 "fake mouth" in black, but has been surrounded by the multi line design to blend into the racing stripes. Some of the designs are a little tricky to see at speed or in the sun though! Thanks to the fictional Atkinson Motorsports Technology for helping develop this car too!

Very nice, surprised you don't have more followers with liveries of such good quality. Interesting choice to add the fictional "meinmacht" logo to the top of the Toyota. I think that's a decal I uploaded.

Says in my log I got it on November 25th from a user named "Mugo123", Isn't hard to tell who that is. There's a funny little coincidence. Anyways, I'm glad you enjoy my stuff.

Here's a quick livery using the base Vantage colours and a whole lot of "AMR". Made this one in-between my PC2 replicas.

CL Performance Brakes - Porsche 911 (991) RSR

Here's more of a conventional livery for the Porsche RSR compared to my last one with lime green metallic paint. This one has the CL Performance Brakes brand as the main sponsor and some GTP WRS number plate decals. The design on the side featured various shades of blue continues to the stripe running the length of the car. The roof even features the Porsche Club of America seal.

Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24 - Sunrise Oil

I'm back with my first livery on a Nissan GT-R! This one is somewhat inspire by the old Nismo schemes, but updated for the Nurburgring 24h race and featuring new sponsors not seen on the older ones. I think this one came out pretty good, and the grey accenting under the red looks really good in my humble opinion. The driver names on the roofline are all random ones I pulled from the discover tab, probably some real drivers in there. So hey, an unintentional easter egg. Also features retro GTPlanet decals!

Also works in Sport Mode!

Here's one that was in the pipe for a long time. I couldn't quite decided how to go about this one. Originally it was going to be white, but I changed it to black for some unknown reason. The Green and Orange colours are inspired by the company's logo colours. Green for dog food, Orange for cats. Jenkins is also included on the rear wing inside the GT logos. Features all the engine cut and extinguisher stuff too. To get inspiration I looked at some GT Sport replicas of the Ford GTLM on the Mustang for the side design, then I added more stripes and went from there. Overall it turned out nice and I'm very happy with it.

Excuse the lighting in these photos, the orange and green are much brighter in the sunlight.

Ferrari Canada Enduro #30 - Ferrari 458 Italia GT3

Get 'er here: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gtsport/user/livery/1204631/1/4971992749104463873

I'm actually surprised it took me this long getting around to making a livery for my favorite GT3 car that I actually wanted to post here. This livery continues the "race ready" theme of my previous liveries, with endurance regs being the focus here. I personally thought that the previous 458 designs weren't of quality to be posted here, but I think that this is the one. For this livery, I went for something really angular, I wanted it to stand out among my other designs as sharp and bold. This livery features endurance racing things such as the position plate, "AM" stickers and yellow lights. I also used @RACECAR's Ferrari paint scheme he made for me in the VRR series as a base for the colours.

The car has some sponsors inspired by Ferrari's F1 sponsors such as Ray-Bans and some others. I also put flames out the back air ducts to fill in some white space. Makes it a little more interesting while using the chase cam. This livery has all the tow arrows and engine cut decals you'd need as well, so this one's ready to go racing out of the box. (Yes, the logo on the side is in fact the old GTPlanet logo, I get GTP in all my liveries somewhere!)
