Next Race is Oct 5th at Spa-Francorchamps Welcome to the MSN (Monthly Saturday Night) 2019 - 1.5 Hour Gr.4 Endurance Race Season We are strictly a Series with all Members. Anyone wishing to join our Series must first become a member. Our Gr.4 Endurance Races are held on the first Saturday of every month. There are no point systems or awards/gifts handed out for our race's. You are not punished in anyway if you miss One Race. Everyone must use a different Gr.4 Car. For those who plan on running an entire season a special car selection process is held at the end of each year to determine what car you will be using for the entire next season. For those who do not plan on running the entire season or anyone that signs up once the special car selection process is over you then must choose a car off the Available Car List on a first come first serve basis. Our focus is on having a fun but very competitive & clean race without keeping score. Again you are able to miss one race without having to worry about it effecting you in any negative way. However if you miss two races/two months in a row your name will then be pulled off the list and your car is returned to the Available Car List. You can always sign back up at anytime and for any race if the members list is not full. You will also have to choose a car off the Available Car List again. The 2020 Schedule will mark the 3rd and Final Year for our Series on GTSport. We will look at resuming our Series once the PS5 and GT7 have been out for a few months. The 2020 season will have some new changes to the format starting with the biggest. We will now be racing the Gr.3 & Gr.4 classes in alternating months. The Gr.4 class will continue to race at locations we have not yet visited but the Gr.3 class is open to all locations in the game. There will be a Car Selection Process for our final season. There will also be a limit on how many cars from the same manufacturer can be used. That limit is (2) However once you have chosen your Manufacturer you are required to stay with that Manufacturer for the entire season. Some Manufacturers have more than two cars and you can use any car under the Manufacturer that you have chosen. (Example only) January 4th - Gr.4 at Mount Panorama February 1st - Gr.3 at SPA March 7th - Gr.4 at Fuji Speedway GT April 4th - Gr.3 at LeMans May 2nd - Gr.4 Brands Hatch June 6th - Gr.3 ? It's up to you if its a Gr.4 or Gr.3 location. Also keep in mind that any track location can be replaced if a more sought after location is add in an update. Just because our series doesn't keep score this does not imply that we don't take our racing seriously If you do not take this race seriously then you will be asked to leave. The Good Racecraft Guide Spoiler: Special Car Selection Saturday The MSN Gr.4 Special Car Selection Saturday will be held every December At the beginning of each new season the Gr.4 car list gets wiped clean. Those who plan on running the entire season of (2020) will now battle it out to determine their car selection position. This Special Qualifying Session will have everyone using the same car with the same setup on the same track. Nobody will know the identity of the qualifying car or the track location until we are all in the lobby on that day including myself. I will choose one person that's not going to participate in this event to select the Car & Track for us. They will then enter the lobby on this day and reveal their choice to everyone for the first time. There will only be one restriction for the selection of the Car & Track and that is no 10 to 20 million credit cars will be used just because not everyone has them all or can afford them all. The person with the fastest qualifying time gets to choose their Gr.4 Car first for the season Then the Gr.4 Car selection process will continue forward based on the qualifying times. You will have the out lap for a warm up and then the next lap will be your qualifying lap. One lap is all you get so make it count. Only one person will be allowed on the track at any given time during this Special Car Selection Qualifying Round. Everyone's cars will remain in the pits until your name is called upon to run your qualifying lap. At no time will anyone be permitted on the track other than to do their qualifying lap. If you are caught driving on the track at any time other than your qualifying lap you will be disqualified from Car Selection Event. Once you are finished with your qualifying lap please exit to the lobby screen where you can watch others run their qualifying laps. This will insure each person will have the track all to themselves but at the same time everyone will be able to watch your qualifying run (The pressures on). I will record everyone's lap times after each run and set the grid order based on those lap times. Then we will go down that list in order based on fastest first as you will choose an Available Gr.4 Car that you wish to use for the entire season when it gets to you. This special Qualifying Round will be held every December before the holidays and before New Season Begins. 1. One lap qualifying run 2. Tires will be Race Softs or Sport Softs depending on the car type. 3. Track limit penalties will be set to high 4. Damage will be set to heavy 5. Car will remain completely stock with no tuning allowed except for the tire compound upgrade. Just like in real racing push your car to hard and wreck then your qualifying run will be destroyed. Abused the track limits and penalty will cost you a decent time. There are some very sought after cars that will be on everyone list. You will have to be on your best and not let the pressure or challenges facing you stand in your way for a chance at obtaining one of your top picks. Good luck everyone.
