I will throw up a practice lobby today but I'm not sure about what time. It will be sometime early today and it will definitely not be after 4pm.

I also have the kids by myself up until 4pm today so my time on the game is centered around them most definitely.

I will probably open up a lobby when i'm practicing. It would be nice to have other cars on track to practice how and when to brake LOL.
since i am home alone with my kids, it will be late Friday or early Saturday AM. (maybe tonight late if i can stay awake).
jump in if you need some laps.

I did practice some a couple weeks ago and it was very difficult in the wet. I just went slow to avoid hitting things/spinning out and that's probably my best strategy
The first 3 corners are going to be crazy. Need to figure out how to squelch that adrenaline at the start; maybe i'll go to the back so as to avoid crashing into anyone 🤬:banghead:🤬

I had a lobby open earlier today and @Infineon & @Standard_FV both joined in for about an hour or more worth of practice.
I won't have another practice lobby up and I won't be able to join in any lobby before the race Saturday.
I will see everyone then.

Hey all, I kind of missed the notification for the last 150 posts...
Happy to see the races are still on and that Rinski is back, have a good race Saturday, I'm also looking forward next season with mix of Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars

The notification thing even happens to me and it's my thread.
Yeah I got about 95% of my stuff back so I'm still here..lol
I'm trying to structure next season somewhat like the the Manufacturer's Series. I was hoping they would add in the multi tire rule to the lobby section but if not we are still going to implement it for next season. Should be fun.
Anyway there is still room this season anytime you want to jump back in.

We have 3 spots open for Saturday.

After practice yesterday it was decided that Saturday's race at Redbull Ring / heavy rain will have a rolling start to avoid what will happen if we don't.

My Fastest lap in the Porsche was a 1:52

My Fastest lap overall was a 1:51 in the AWD Mazda that sits on the available list.

It's going to be an interesting race and I will be amazed if anyone can make it 1.5hr without losing control of their car at some point.

Iff nobody should mind having a slow car on track I would like to join in , in the Mazda , and not because Rinsky susgested it :)

I think everyone will be slow on the track Saturday

I will put you down for the Mazda at the Redbull Ring/Heavy Rain.
What a Great Choice I think. Because after testing out all the AWD Gr.4 cars the Mazda was by far the best car with me behind the wheel. I honestly believe it will be the car to beat Saturday.

Welcome back.

Maybe your susgestion had a bit to do with me picking the Mazda after seeing you upgraded your wheel to the T-GT with Pro pedals , it was like reading my own signature :) and thank you for welcome back , I just hope my knee will allow me to finish the race :)

Switching to the T-GT & T3PA-PRO pedals was a complete game changer and has put me on another level over the controller. It's not even close.

Guess I have to open a room and give it a go , as I havent been driving as much as 2 minutes in the rain yet , I hate driving in the rain :banghead: room will be open shortly , need to set it up with the correct settings :) Cant remember what driving options that are prohibited ?? what time off day is the track set at ??

edit. found the track time ......and I dont use any help other than abs , so iam good , fell free to join :)

Sorry I was at work yesterday so I didn't get a chance to see your post.
I think the rain is a difficult challenge for everyone. It might not be everyone's favorite and that's because you have to drive the cars in a completely different manner.
The cars handling will catch you off guard making things very unpredictable at times. I like the way my cars slides under heavy braking and I can feel the rear end fish tailing.
Just have fun with the race tomorrow and view it as a personal challenge not to spin out. Those who can be consistent will gain some valuable spots.

Qualifying Settings

Qualifying is 10 minutes

Qualifying fuel is same as race
Qualifying end delay is set at 60sec
You only have 60 seconds to finish the lap your on after the 10 minute clock is up.
Race starts automatically after all qualifying timers are up.
The tire compound you use for qualifying will carry over for the race.

There has been a glitch in the qualifying Settings since it was put in the lobby section. It doesn't matter how long I set the time to run after qualifying is over it will always do 2 minutes regardless. I have it set for 60 seconds.

Its no problem driving the Mazda in the rain , my fastest lap was a 50.9 and at no point was I about to spin the car ;)

Remember as tires get worn or that fuel cell gets low you will notice it quickly.
Even if you don't spin/slide other people are going to and once that happens they are just along for the ride.
I barely turned my wheel the other day in practice to avoid Infineon spinning out. Just that amount of small input was all it took to send my car sliding & sliding & sliding until I hit a barrier.

Thanks for the invite, i don't fancy Red Bull that much so in the wet it's going to be epic !!
I had plans for this evening with friends (soccer game and casino) but as the race starts at 2am for me i might be back in time i don't know...

If i am and there's still a spot open i might come, let me know what car is available, also if i'm late for the quali i'll start at the back.

Sorry it's so late for you. There is not really a perfect time between our time zones that would work well.
I wish I could find a race like this going on at 2am.
The lobby section is almost a ghost town when it's that late here.

Here are the available cars for tonight's race and I have 3 spots open as of now. There will be no issue on availability if you decided to jump in.

RCZ
Veyron
Scirocco
Subaru
Regular Megane
