Update time. Got myself a full time job as a general service tech at a tire shop around here, so I can finally start having some money to get the ball rolling on fixing up my now 195,000 mile F150.
Had it up on the lift the other day, balanced the tires, which helped a lot 💡 but also found that my passenger ball joint and outer tie rod are both shot. So it's gonna get a front end makeover. Springs/shocks/tie rods/balljoints/wheel bearings.
Then after that comes 4.10 gears in the rear because after I replace my saggy front springs I'll be able to clear 33x12.50 tires
Then comes what I'm really excited for. The body work! I'm gonna throw a new bed on the truck, 2 new front fenders, and have the cab rust repaired, then have it painted Sonic Blue with no side moldings.
And kind of 4 year update... September 25th, 2013 marked the 4 year anniversary of bringing this girl home. 55,000 miles later, I think I love it more than the day I bought it. Can't say much more really lol
Clearing 33x11.50 tires last week on 17x9 wheels with 4.5" backspacing. ****** stance with those wheels, but I like the amount of tire. On my rims 33x12.50 will stick out about 1.5" from my fenders
Picture my friend took... Captioned with "I like your ass

"
And my buddy posing next to a real truck, not some governmental motors thing!
Front end reminds a bit of a Peterbilt from this angle
