The NightKids are a GT5 Touge and Wangan team. We started out as a Touge team back in August 2011. Since then we have expanded our horizons to Wangan. The team name comes from the popular anime, Initial D. We participate in LotS and in the Wangan Masters Tournament. We have also expanded to drifting recently.
Tōge or Touge (峠?) is a Japanese word literally meaning "pass." It refers to a mountain pass or any of the narrow, winding roads that can be found in and around the mountains of Japan and other geographically similar areas, like the legendary Nordschleife in Germany.
In order to decrease the incline of mountain roads, thereby making them easier for commercial trucks to pass, engineers place a series of S bends in steep roads that provide access to and from high mountain elevations. These passes have become popular with street racers and motorsport enthusiasts because they provide a challenging, albeit dangerous, course.
Touge in GT5
We run Touge according to L.o.t.S. rules
L.o.t.S.-Legend of the Streets
We run touge on Toscana Tarmac and Mt. Aso race editor tracks. We also run it on tracks like Côte d'Azur and the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
We run 3 classes.
-Sports hard tires
-Sports Hard tires
-1600cc or less engine displacement
All 3 classes share the following rules:
-No more than 95% engine limiter (95%-!00% only)
-No more than 5% of car weight in ballast (If your car weighs 1000kg, then you are only allowed 50kg ballast.)
-No fully customizable transmission
Wangan'Wangan' (literally bayshore in Japanese) is the endonym of this longest, straightest road in the entire country. There is also road traffic to contend with, including a fair number of heavy trucks. Because of this, the action is inherently hazardous, and wrecks are common. Blown engines are also a frequent hazard, especially with the extremely high power engines.
Wangan in GT5
We run Wangan according to the rules of the Wangan Masters Tournament.

Tryouts are always occurring. Send me a message via PSN as my friends list is constantly full. Skill is a part of trying out, but I'm more interested in your attitude towards other teammates and fellow rivals. Respect is valued above all else.
