Hey guys,

Right here's the lowdown, next week I get payed! Hurrah!! And I'm planning on spending half my wage packet (Roughly 250 - 300 quid) on upgrading my PC. Top of my list is more memory and a brand spanking new graphics card to play my games on.

Now, my PC isn't exactley the finest bit of technology ever, for starters, it's a Dell. It currently has 80GB worth of memory (20 of which is currently taken) I dunno if that's any useful information but hey, every little helps I guess.

Hopefully you guys know of some good manufactures or shops for me to go to as I don't really have a clue. Cheers in advance.
:)

First off, 80GB of memory is a whole lot, considering about 1GB is the average for anyone. I think we need a terminology check ;).

Memory/RAM: Random Access Memory...accesses data that it randomly stores for quicker loading times and such.

Hard Drive: Stores all of your installed programs, pictures, videos, music, etc.

I believe you're referring to the later, can you confirm this?

Haha sorry guys, been away a bit, right to answer MachOne, it's the RAM I would like to upgrade I thought I got a wee bit wrong there, my computer knowlage is that of a Salmon. dbartucci, my model is a Dimension 2400, basic one really. And for the type of video card, I think it's a PCI-E.
