NEED HELP ON TOP SPEED

I HAVE DONE THE SETTING ADJUSTMENTS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE ONE OF THOSE AWESOME TOP SPEEDS, BUT I CAN ONLY GET UP TO 630 MPH. HOW SOMEONE GOT 1154 IS BEYOND ME. IM RUNNING THE ESCUDO (1800 HP) WHICH I THINK IS ONE OF THE BEST TOP SPEED CARS IN THE GAME. IS THERE ANY MORE SPECIFIC HELP ON HOW TO GET HIGHER TOP SPEEDS. AND IS THERE ANY PRACTICAL APPLICATION TO THIS TOP SPEED SETTING IN RACING. IF SO WHAT COURSES AND HOW?

If you are at 630 you are doing it right it is just timing and how you come out of the corner.  I got in the high 700's or 800's I cannot remember.  You just need to come out of the corner faster and staighter.  And then you will get faster!

How the ****
are u guys getting speeds close to 1000 mp/h??? I own the escudo pikes peak, and with the only mod i saw, the level 4 turbo, and a few hrs of gear ratio tinkering, on the 1000m test, it only hits 290. How the ****
u guys are getting 1000 is beyond me

Hernianut, if you look below, I pasted instructions how to go over 1000mph from the website in my sig. I put it up on the site for the owner. I've only been able to get over 1000mph on 2 occasions. Enough practice and you'll be able to do it too. Good luck bro.

Here is how to reach speeds in excess of 1000mph.

1. Make sure you have a car with over 1000 HP. like the Escudo,Gt-One Race Car, or R390 GT1 Race Car.
2. Equip the largest stage turbo kit or N/A tune possible.
3. Decrease spring rate to the smallest possible value for both front and rear.
4. Decrease ride height to the smallest possible value for both front and rear.
5. Set the gear ratio's auto setting to the highest level possible.
6. Set the gear ratio's final gear from about 2.600 to 3.000.
7. Decrease the front downforce to the smallest possible value.
8. Increase the rear downforce to the largest possible value.
9. Set ASM to level 0.
10. Set TCS to level 0.

After you have set your selected car up like this take it to the MAX SPEED test track. Instead of going around counter-clockwise; go clockwise instead because you can go around as many times as you want without having to finish. Once you reach speeds of 230+mph the front end of the car should lift up, and you should start to accelerate insanely fast. You won't have very much steering control since your front wheels are off of the ground. Speeds of up to 1200mph, and over are possible with this setup.
