Seriously why would you want the full package at this time.
The F1 rim isnt going to be as good with Dirt 3 / Nascar / GT5

Whats interesting is the "GT" rim isnt yet available seperate if you could or did get an F1 package.
When will it be available and how much?

Personally Id of liked Thrustmaster to of been able to implement LED lights. If Logitech could do it with G27 (albiet with very small ones) then I find Thrustmaster and Fanatec should of considered adding them to their new product lines.

This rim still looks good for the avid F1 fan but at £130 im not sure how many when they really think about it will use it enough to warrant the price particulary as all the fancy knobs wont work. Really what you have is Ferrari branding and a new shaped rim to enjoy your F1 2011 with and well yeah it looks quite flash too.

It seems that it is not much room for the fingers between fixed and mobile paddles.

Incorrect. The dfgt uses more.buttons than a standard ps3 controller. To be technical, most wheel peripherals use more buttons than a ds3 counting the pedals. Also the use of 2 controllers with gt5 shows that the ps3 is capable of having a more complex controller than the ds3.
I think you are confused with microsoft.

Sorry, but the pedals aren't buttons, they are axes. Do the extra buttons on the DFGT work with other games besides GT5(P)?

That's right they don't. If any manufacturer wants to launch a peripheral with more axes/buttons than the standard DS3 controller, those buttons will only work with the games that are designed or patched to work with them. Even if F12011 came with functionality for extra buttons, no other game in the entire PS3 game library would support it, just like GT5 (and Prologue) are the only games that support the DFGT's extra buttons.

And regarding what you said regarding wheels using more buttons than a DS3... feel free to count them. A Driving Force Pro, for instance, has the exact same number of buttons of a DS3 and three axes less. It has one axis for steering and two XY axes for the pedals, whereas the DS3 has 4 axes for both analog sticks and 2 for the triggers.

I may be wrong on button count but my point still stands that it is not the ps3 limiting the amount of button ( loose term. ) but developers not implementing it. Gt5 proves this and you stated f1 theoretically could do the same to allow for full use of the wheel. ( i know, not fact )

I wasnt trying to be rude, I apologize if you took it that way.

Exactly, and hopefully F1 2011 will be set up to do just that, and access the wheel in advanced mode, or whatever.

Now I'm sorely tempted. Might wait until xmas when maybe you'll be able to pick up the wheel and the game for a ton.

Also, I did a quick lookup of what Crammond is up to these days and round an interview from last year where he says GP5 feels like unfinished business.

Cmon Geoff, think of the physics you could apply with today's computing power.

Oh and new stunt car racer and sentinel would be great too :)

Please type properly.

But....... since this wheel is geared towards f1 then the reviews being here makes sense. It will help sell the rim if the game it is geared towards gets hyped up.

29 programmable functions on my PC in Advanced mode?! Sweet, this wheel rim is back on top as far as I'm concerned hell yeah!

Shoulda known Trustmaster wouldn't fail me.

I was correct about the front face of the F1 wheel rim. Anodized brushed aluminum. Here are some pictures where you should be able to see it more clearly.

Ah so they are releasing another config profile for rFactor. I started off with their profile for my t500rs wheel on rFactor so that's a good idea. I also just noticed the new firmware update seemed to be focused on this new wheel rim, etc. Sweeeett 👍

Amazon Germany has listed the new F1 Integral wheel and shows nice pictures..
But, where are the steady shifter paddles..? :embarrassed: And when I read the box correct, it means that the F1 Integral wheel does not come with the GT wheel? So, why 600 Euro????

Exemple with "GT5" you can use the 2 Dials/Rotary Encoder to adjust your car directly in race with RA function:
(in race just press “Cross” button to activate/deactivate RA function)

Sounds great but I wouldn't recommend this wheel for GT5. Indeed any game requiring 1030 degrees turning, this wheel isn't designed for, surely?

The only time I need to turn my G25 past an angle where I need to change hand positions is when I crash ! If you are partial to the odd bit of drifting then no, this whell will be no use, normal driving however would be fine ?, and I look at it as more of a SuperGT car style wheel than an F1 wheel.

As for games on the PS3 making use of all the buttons, that would require the wheel to be seen as having two "controllers" in it, probably a hardware addition which would have pushed the cost up too much for everyone, even those who didn't buy the F1 option ?

Most cars in GT5 (if not all) are locked at 450º wich is pretty much the most steering wheel rotation a F1 car will have (in monaco only)

It's odd indeed - there's also no sign of anything being added or so. I'd go with the normal GT wheel and the addon, to be honest...

Not sure about that Trib.
When I did the FGT races it felt like I was steering a boat TBH. That's with a 900 deg wheel. This one has 1030 I believe.

Been awhile since I've played it mind so I could well be wrong on that or it's patched.

It wouldn't be my goto general wheel, would love it for the upcoming F1 though.

no there is steady shifter paddles from what i can see on the blueprints?

I mean the package photo and the other photo I posted earlier. I cant see steady shifters.. I had a T500RS and the steady shifters are very big so when they come with the Integral T500 then we should could see that on the packaging but I dont see that.. Anyway, it does not come with the gt wheel so there would be no reason to attach the base with the steady shifters.. but then I cant understand the pricing of 600 €!

Sorry, maybe I just plain missed it, but are the 6 main dials in the centre of the wheel useable on the PC or are they just for decoration?
