NingDynasty's Replica Tracks - Sebring 12H, Club, Short, Modified, 1966 *Added Lime Rock 1.5*

Really excited to be able to drive some of my favorite tracks in GT6. This will be the home to any of the replica tracks that I create. First on deck will be the variants of Sebring. I'm also testing a version of Lime Rock Park with elevation changes.

Sebring International Raceway Version 0.4

New Release Notes:

  • Fixed turn 16 issue, feels much better now.
  • Added curbing to turn 1 and turn 17 to simulate the extra width in those sections and eliminate as much grass as possible since there is none in those areas.
  • Added additional curbing and moved some to proper sections of track.
  • Scenery adjustments, removed tents from backside of Ullman straight, added trees and other elements where possible.

Previous Release Notes:

  • Used a new high res map to make this version.
  • Hairpin Complex is much improved.
  • Sunset corner is tricky again, too tricky for the AI.
  • Both Crossover Bridges on Big Bend are intact.
  • 3, 4,5 complex has a much better feel.
  • Turn 16 may be too tight on exit, will look into it.
  • Turn 1 is better, possibly as good as it can be with the narrow track width required for the rest.
  • Curbing is about 90% complete, some adjustments needed after recon laps.
  • First release of short course and modified short course.
  • First release of Sebring 66.

I'm also working on one just for fun...looking to do some of the details like curbing and trees right. I used the GPS data to base it on, but it still ended up being a bit shorter, around 3.6 miles.
 
Version 0.2 is up, also added the scenery and curbing to get a general feel for the app itself. Curbs should be close, plus or minus a couple feet. Turn 1 may just have to be done inaccurately to get the feel right. Gonna play with that, the essess and some of the sharper turns but honestly I was pretty happy with this early attempt.
 
Hopefully just downloaded and saved your Version 2 of Florida's favourite former F1 track.

Cheers for your effort - but this is a slog to type stuff into my PS3!



It worked - needs a few parked up planes and a few large hangers, I remember it being a bit bumpier - But a great start mate. - I just hope I don't have to push my car over the line like poor old Black Jack.

Version 0.3 is up. I really like this one. Biggest issue I have with it is turn 16 but I'm really enjoying it so far.

Finding some braking markers is gonna be the trick on these user created tracks, the scenery portion of the editor is pretty sparse.

I'll keep this one as the base and tweak from there. Curbs are pretty close though after driving I see a few I want to move.

Will be using this base to create the Short Course and the Club Course, though some liberties will have to be taken with the Club Course start/finish straight.

Also will be looking into creating historic versions of the course since we have such an assortment of great classic cars.

Lime Rock Park Version 1.5a

I'm very happy to announce this update. Thanks to the great GT community we have, @PR1VATEJ0KER, @Razerman, @eran0004, @tarnheld, @Mr Grumpy and anyone else who has pushed the development of the TPE, without you guys this wouldn't have been possible.

Without further ado I present you with Lime Rock Park.

Release Notes:

  • Completely redrawn track for 100% accuracy.
  • Custom elevation changes and banking to match the real track.
  • Tree lines, marshall posts, billboards and crossover bridges all in correct spots.
  • Elevation change on the uphill and downhill tweaked based on more video research.
  • Banking transitions smoothed.
Future Updates:
  • Addition of tents to give the track a race weekend feel.
  • Possible change of physical location to get the interior of the track to match the real life topography slightly better.

I like your approach and methodical way of creating your tracks and working on improving them. Like versioning as well. Your Sebring 12H ver 0.4 looks really professional. Can't hardly wait to try it. Thanks a lot
