No access to March VIP rivals

for some reason I can't seem to access the March VIP challenge in Rivals. Is there some sort of unknown condition for entry?

What limited edition? I just got my Xbox 6 weeks back.

To enter the VIP rivals race, you must have bought the Limited Collectors Edition.

The rivals race is only open to those with VIP status (aka the crown you see in lobbies).
