THE USER-CREATED TRACKS
Car/track combos come with their own unique challenges:

Buybon355's Track

Wholeflats Aerodrome: Crossing the start/finish as you change up into top gear still with a mile of straight in front of you lets you know what this track is all about – SPEED! As the incline increases, you are led into an uphill braking zone, allowing you to brake much later than your speed would have you think. Out-braking into here after a good tow up the hill should be plentiful.

Leading you into the slowest section on the circuit, carved out of the Eifel hills, beware of the cambers as you apply the throttle of Bo Duke’s muscle of choice. An off-camber left with a blind apex fools you into thinking you have braked enough to make it, before dropping back down into a high speed switch back.

One more left hander before the high speed downhill back straight. Get you exit right and you’ll see 180 MPH as your V8 begs for mercy.

Downhill braking into the final corner, which opens on exit, but when can you get on full power? Too soon and you’ll be facing back up the hill into the path of Roscoe P Coltrane.

A track for the good ol’ boys!

Joe__Kerr's Track

Rocky Road: A simple track built specifically for the El Camino @525pp on Sports Softs. A roomy course with an emphasis on fast, flowing corners that affords plenty of overtaking opportunities. Fun and easy to learn - even for the novice - and it's perfect for old muscle cars! The jump after the start/finish; online is small, offline it's big, so best to practice online.

JockeP22's Track

Motoyama Speedway circuit is one of the venues of the Summer Muscle Madness, and of the Motoyama 24 Hours and 800 KM of Motoyama endurance races.

It is one of the most challenging race tracks in Japan mainly due to its fast, hilly and twisty nature. Motoyama Speedway is a favorite circuit of many racing drivers and fans.
Despite its name the circuit is not in Motoyama but lies near the Buddhist temple in the vicinity of the city of Aomori.

Designed in 1947 by Rikimaru Takagi and Tohru Katsumoto, the original course used public roads and the first car race was held at the circuit in 1949. It was the fastest road circuit in Japan at the time and it had a nasty reputation for being dangerous and very fast.

It was a circuit known to be one for the brave and most drivers were frightened of it. Over the years the circuit has been modified several times from originally being over sixteen kilometres long and made considerably safer.
With a new financial backer renovations were made step by step between 1983 and 2009.

iamtooma's Track

Desert Highway Dash

Like the name of the track indicates, this is designed for high speed, pedal to the metal/carpet/carbon fibre driving. Plenty of high speed sliding turns through the desert on good ole US-of-A blacktop.

American Muscle cars are a blast here; burbling V8s with big pots and long loping gears belong here.

Think Eagles on the speakers – Allman Bros – Ventures – Lobo – Willie Nelson and mates giving it laldy with, “On The Road Again, I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.” – now you can, so go man go – have a blast.

Any other fave machine will be every bit as good, that’s my disclaimer to protect me, the innocent.

Enjoy!

IfAndOr's Track

Reabrook Raceway: Has been altered a few times over the years. The opening section of original circuit had an off camber corner that resulted in a few crashes. This combined with a final corner exit that caused some instances of cars being propelled into the pits without notice fell foul of new FIA regulations, so forced some track remodeling. The owners have also recently purchased some adjacent land and have expanded the track into it. The overall new layout is much applauded by drivers, who had already liked the circuit, for being much more free flowing.

The first corner is a full 180 degree turn, there is a slight bump mid corner so careful throttle control is required. It then begins to get fast! A quick left & right chicane is followed by a right with a blind apex. The track then drops down around a long sweeping right hand bend into Brook Dip One, then climbs slightly to pass the first grandstands. It then dips again to the left down a straight in to a double right hand complex. The track climbs back up the hill through a tighter but still fast left & right chicane and comes quickly to a open right. A fast section then swoops down past the other grandstands into the slightly tighter Brook Dip Two. It's then onward to the final corner which climbs back to the pit straight.

PP AND TUNING
We’ll be racing at 525pp on Sports Softs. As we’ll all be in the same car for each race (rotating every week), the only difference will be your tuning (and driving) ability! Tune how you want, as long as you stay under 525pp. No bhp or weight restrictions apply.

RACE FORMAT: 2 x 20 MINUTE ENDURANCE RACES
2016 Summer Muscle Madness Championship
will consist of 8 meets. One meet will consist of 2 x 20 minute races. At each meet there will be one practice, one qualifying and two races. The room will open at 10:30pm UK for practice. Qualifying will start at 11:00pm and Race 1 will start at approx 11:10pm until 11:30pm. Race 2 will start at approx 11:40pm until 12:00pm. Points will be awarded for both races. The best 14 results from 16 races (8 week championship/2 races per meet minus the two lowest scoring races) will count towards the driver's total points score. This means anyone who misses a week won't be penalised.

We’ll be using a combination of real-world tracks and user-created tracks built by some of our club members.

Often with user-created tracks lag is experienced, but to minimise this please clear your cache before entering the room. Some lag may still be experienced, but hey, it’s a fun championship and, we’ll just need to roll with the punches!

WHAT KIND OF RACING CAN YOU EXPECT?
In a nutshell, respectful, fast and fun racing. However, it’s not all about the Trophy and from time to time we like to enjoy the surrounding scenery too ;)

RULES & REGULATIONS
Our regular members are cool and always attempt to race in a fair and gentlemanly way and hope all participants will race in the same fashion. We understand contact does happen, however, reckless dive bombing etc ain’t cool; we can do better than that!

I'll be there at least most of the time.

No ovals though? In these cars? Sacrilege! These were the perfect cars for the quarter mile oval.

Beam Sign me up, Scotty.

Scotty has beamed Jocke up:cheers:

Wish I shared your love of ovals blue, might change my mind after the races this weekend:tup:

This looks to be super fun and challenging :D
Very well thought out, setup and planned my friend. I am going to try and join in if my time will allow for. Classic Muscle on these tracks just looks too inviting.

That means a lot coming from you Bowite 'cos I know that you know a thing or two about muscle. For anyone looking for a muscle tune, see Bowtie's garage: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ves-ts030-hybrid-600pp-seasonal-tunes.311172/

He 'da man:bowdown:

Joe

Sounds excellent. 👍

I would love to join this but as you know there are always some dates when I just can't be there!! I already know I'll miss 16 July and 6th August but should make all the other dates.

If that's okay with you please sign me up.:D

Can't believe I'll miss the 440 charger and then Jocke's track again!

Very interesting looking series you've got going here and very well set out as well:tup:. If I can sort myself out a bit time-wise I wouldn't mind have a crack at it, or as many races as I can fit in (If that's OK).
 THC_gtmic

You're the fastest friend I've got so I really do hope to see you on the starting grid. Many a time I've been inspired to go the extra mile, do the extra lap just to beat your blue line in the TTs. You'll be welcome anytime and there's no need to ask for a wildcard:bowdown:

When I first got interested in GT6, your tunes helped me a lot and are still helping many today. You're the number 1 most active author on gtplanet by a golden mile and it'd be great to have you on the grid when your wrist gets better.

825 and counting: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/resources/authors/ghostrider65.238590/

Thanks a lot my friend Reefer ;)👍 !! Your post and your testimony of sympathy are greatly appreciated and I THANK YOU :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: !! I'm possibly not the best Tuner on :gtplanet: but if some settings may help so it's a good satisfaction for me ;) !! I'm eager to find me :banghead: on the track with drivers :nervous: :yuck: to enjoy and participate in intense races :)👍👍👍 !!

Take care of yourself and thanks again Reefer  !!

Best regards friends racers 👍👍👍 !!

It's right 👍. Maybe it's too the best driver. Beware

Great interest in the series Joe! Can't see me retaining my title, but I know for a fact I'll be loving every minute trying!

See you all trackside.

Your track - Wholeflats Aerodrome - and the charger is actually quite tough combo. A lot of time can be lost/found after the long straight and into the switchback. In fact, even just keeping the speed in the 440 ain't easy.

Not many corners, but can still throw up a challenge. I'm really hoping the uphill straight provides the slipstream I'm hoping for. You usually drop about 10 MPH up the hill, so if you're close enough, there should be a good effect.

Hi there! Is it ok if I join you only one race: Race 7&8 at July 30 on Mt. Panorama with Camaro Z28 ‘69?
All other races I cannot join.

I will be doing my best to make it, so far things are looking good:tup:, and yeah, those blue lines can be a 🤬, I spent many, many hours chasing the lines of the faster THC fellas in the early days of GT6. I wish I still had that kind of motivation, then maybe, just maybe I could get a bit closer to your super quick blue lines:bowdown:

I gave this track a quick go yesterday and I've got to say, this car/track combo looks very challenging:nervous:, but also great fun (the downhill slalom section:drool:).
All the best to everyone and I hope to see you on the grid:cheers:

I'm always behind you until the day I think, "OK, this is my last day at this" then, if I'm lucky, I'll pip you by a tenth or something. Looking forward to catching up mate:tup:

Sorry, I won't be able to make that. I don't get off from work until 9 pm (New York time) on Saturdays

Okay, Clarky, thanks for that!

Great video Joe (@reefer) and with appropriate music*. 👍

You seem to have an amazing amount of grip! The tyres hardly protested at all

I think I might need some company at the back because my cars go around corners like, well like tyre smoking '60s & '70s American muscle cars. :P
(Good job tyre wear is off)

*I see you still have the GT6 background music playing. They continue to play even if you have the volume turned right down. If you don't listen to the songs, disable them in gallery, playlists - it'll save just a little CPU time and the track names won't keep popping up on screen.
