Online gaming?

how far away from eachother can the players be in online gaming? have to be like, in the same room or what?

Sorry to say but this is quite a dumb question.. Explain further..

With SOCOM FTB you can go online and play against players from over the whole world, but with NFSU2Rivals only within 15metres or so..

I tried to play online with my friends PSP - i tried Wipeout Pure and Burnout Legends and i left them for a couple of minutes each searching for other players but no one joined the game!

Burnout Legends is for people within 15metres (or like that). If you are hosting, take another PSP and let that one join.. Or if you have 2 PSP's and only 1 Burnout Legend, share the game
