I've played online all with Tuned PRO physics cars last night. It was fun, challenging, rewarding, a learning experience, competitive, and fast.
Fun is the fact that you can see a grid of so many different cars in the same race. I was using the Amuse S2000 and I was leading the pack at one time against Ferrari F430s, Nissan GTRs, and Mitubitshi Evos...all were tuned too.
The challenging, rewarding, and learning part is making the decision on how to tune up your car before the race. You have the option to adjust your Gear ratio, tires, suspension, aero, power, and weight to suit what you need for that type of course and maximize your car's potential. You get a limited QTS points allowed and you choose what you feel will help you best on the course. HP, tires, weight, etc...
QTS limit was 650.
The competition was feirce, provided you can avoid the early crashes and move up to the front of the pack. Wheel to wheel racing and battled it out side by side with may other online gamers. It was fun!
I Lead a couple of laps, but also stayed in the back many times due to my pole position. I usually start in the back, mostly everytime. I did notice that some of the PSN ID names sounded Japanese like, so I think I'm still playing around the world and not just limited to my area. I have the Japanese version too.
Things I liked about Spec II online racing:
1. QTS
2. QTS limit
3. QTS
Win or Lose, you play, you learn, you make mistakes, and you adapt each time. Each time I go back into the QTS option, make an adjustment and try again. It's a lot fun racing online and trying to perfect the right QTS to be competitive online.
