Optical connection

I recently connected my xbox to my home cinema kit - 600 watts of sound AWESOME

But, the monster cables cost me over £100 - talk about a rip off

thats why i bought the A/V pack. 20 bucks, and it has an optical output so i just gank my optical cord from my PS2 whenever i wanna use it. much better than spending all that money on monster cables

off topic but have you guys heard about splinter cell pandora tomorrows sound? supposedly simulates 7.1 dolby digital. How the hell do they have the time to program stuff that almost nobody has the means to even notice!?

I've often wondered the same thing. And probably 90% of the people who own the higher range of products don't have them setup correctly.
