loved peering into the last race and seeing you guys running 1/2/3 late into the night! truly sorry i missed it... i turned on the ps4 to see how long it would take to download gt7 this morning, and the answer was 'way too long'!

i still haven't set up one of those cars for the race this afternoon, but it looked like that GTS treated you well @PapaGnr
We missed you & @Mooseldorf. You 2 showed up a little too late for a restart. I probably would not have won what I did with you on track. ;) 3 wins & a messy 2nd isn't too shabby for the old guy. The GTS was a dream but practice helped a lot especially at Alsace. Started on CS & FM 6, & could do about 15 laps for fuel. Tires could have run longer, but with short pit, I changed them too. Wonder what next week will bring?

I went over the replay and grabbed a couple pics from the main event. Didn't see anything egregious, Kuba was a bit aggressive when trying to pass you @PapaGnr. But I easily could've missed things, because I skipped a lot

So, I'm thinking of.....you may have guessed it, but Blue Moon infield next week. I'm trying to think of a twist on cars and I may have one. Put the weight and hp on it, which I haven't decided on yet (probably around 3000lbs and a 250hp, but I want to test a few first). But maybe we can get use a car from the same decade we were born in. Just as something fun. Not positive it'll work out for everyone though if I do that.

@PapaGnr there's a Mercedes Tourer in the legends dealership right now 🤣🤣🤣(I'm sorry, I'm just being a torment). In all seriousness though, let me know if that leaves you hamstrung everyone. The discorders are not gonna have a problem since they're most all 90s and 2000s 🤷‍♂️

Nice photos. 👍 There wasn't much I saw that could be considered bad driving. With my strategy, a few people would pit for fresh tires & then catch up to pass me & I'd let em go. Towards the end my hands were starting to cramp up. All in all a great race by all. I did feel sorry for @SnakeEyes427. Don't know how many times I lapped her.

Well, she arguably had the best looking cars out there. Absolutely love that Fairlady

Haven't bought that yet. Maybe will do coz @permaculture has used 1 & it seems fast enough. Gotta do some grinding to keep my bank account up.

Yeah, I'm expecting lots of Nissan GTRs & such. Should be, as Arte Johnson from Laugh In would have said, veerrryyy interesting.

Hi everyone.....I'm from the east coast but this sounds like SO much fun. I have to give it a try! I'll be sending Bic a friend request soon...thanks.
Awesome! I know it's a bit early, but I hope to have you join. I'm on the east coast, but of Canada

Welcome! If you check the discord mentioned (not sure what page), we are about to do a late running of these races this afternoon!

And @Benny44 that sounds good to me! I would love to know what happens to the red pig with tire wear.

@PapaGnr i do not regret the 15 times I ran Le Mans 700pp for the tourer. It can fit a lot of different race specs …. Learning how to turn it is another thing entirely though!

Hey, really sorry I had to leave, was looking forward to it but my extended family are overseas and picked last night to call.
I managed to spectate a couple of laps of Alsace, looked awesome and a lot of fun.
The ring was awesome and Benny, sorry if I bumped you on the last corner and well done for just pipping me at the post.
The DB5 was a dream to drive on the ring, highly recommend it.
Really looking forward to the next one.
Thanks again guys, great work and great photos

evening race was fun! had 6 racers, only did the endurance race (though I had set up three different cars for the other ones!) and it was pretty clean. top two drivers in an SL and GR Yaris RZ were tight - the gap was less than half a tire change. I finished about a lap behind them, and the other three racers finished a couple laps behind. Not sure if they had one or two less pit stops than me, but my fastest lap (one of the few not on FM6) was a full second behind the top one (55.4 or 55.6 or something, in the SL)

hopefully everyone who joined had fun and will come again!

That sounds like fun! Too bad it didn't end a bit closer. The top lap on ours was, I believe, 53 seconds and a bit. However he finished near the bottom because of the pit stops. And I think he was worried about hitting people

Sorry I missed it, although nobody actually posted a schedule here on the Planet. Had I known.......?

Sorry, I was pretty focused on my race and someone on discord decided to do a second heat of it. I should've mentioned something

i should've posted the time, my bad! would've been nice to have you there, we probably would've been neck-and-neck (not sure anything could've caught the modern technically-not-race-cars). that said, being outside and doing real life stuff is always better in my opinion!

and i like the idea of a later heat so long as its an add-on and not taking away from the original element.

A lot of times. The main race was fine when it came to driving on everyone's part, mostly. With about 13 mins left I got hit hard from behind when I was as far out of the race line as I could get. After that I just gave up and waited it out in the pits. Leaving the race can cause the room to glitch so I just pulled off then got my money and left then.
I was not intending to be in the way at all. You guys seem to have a formula that will take me to much time to find. Enjoy it.

Sorry to hear that. There were a few randoms & I'm not sure if they were causing problems or not.

As far as tuning goes, we do tend to try to meet the requirements, making tuning essential. If you're into bone stock cars, I guess we aren't your thing. We sometimes run 1 makes with no tuning. Maybe keep an eye on what's coming up & hope you'll keep us in mind.

OK, so I bought the Barker & was pleasantly surprised about how much tuning I can do. 👍 Actually had to ADD weight to reach 3000 lbs. Now to grind to get my money's worth out of the Beast. As you said @permaculture, steering is an issue. :irked::lol:

Btw, is it Blue Moon infield A or B, forward or reverse? Need to practice.

I think it was A if I remember correctly. I'll check soon!

You actually bought the Barker?🤣 That is hilarious, isn't that a 20s car? I have a suspicion you're not over 100🤣🤣🤣. But that's awesome if you drive that

Here's Sunday's #2 race at Monza. Race Stewards are still reviewing 1st chicane incident involving @Vangeels, @Benny44 & myself, so no actual pics of that will be shown at this time. ;) Great recovery by @Vangeels for the win.

No not 100, but 75. :) Not sure if there's any 40's cars in the game. I WILL use the Barker.👍

Haha awesome! And great pics by the way.

As for the chicane, I was on the right of another car. I couldn't really see the yardage markers, and then I saw him brake. It's a terrible feeling when you know you've missed your braking point AND have nowhere to go. I couldn't go left because cars were there, and right was the chicane. At least, I think there were cars on my left. At that point I was trying damage control, which didn't work

Sunday's race #3 at Le Mans. Watching the replay, I did notice a lot of jostling & off-roading through the sand traps.

I won't post pics of the Enduro coz @Benny44 already has.

LeMans was a place I went very fast, crashed, then went very fast over and over. Next time I use that car, I'm gonna make sure I tune it for stability

What's the power and weight of that car? I may roughly use that when I'm setting up the parameters of the race

Edit - I can find out in a bit, just don't have access to my PS4 right now

Clearly his and mine are different… I think mine is at like 700 lbs lighter!

I might put up a casual lobby today or tomorrow to test out some potential cars for the big honker race. If I do I’ll buzz you @PapaGnr
