Sky News continuing to have a normal one.
Think a large section of NSW people did want a Labor Government. Considering they, you know, voted for them. To steal a line from @TexRex. Why do conservatives hate free speech?
Venturing a guess that they tend toward free market policy (or say that they do even when they don't, like Republicans here) while wanting to dictate much of your daily lives, like Republicans here. "Liberal" doesn't mean left.I'd imagine many Americans (and I'm not including @TexRex in this one) would be confused by the fact what's considered our right leaning/conservative party are actually called the Liberal Party.
Pretty much 👍Venturing a guess that they tend toward free market policy (or say that they do even when they don't, like Republicans here) while wanting to dictate much of your daily lives, like Republicans here.
Oh yeah I get that."Liberal" doesn't mean left.
I think you explained yourself pretty well in your previous post. Made sense to me.Pretty much 👍
Oh yeah I get that.
Just what I was trying to convey that my observations from afar (and I could be wrong) is that to some Americans if you mention the word liberal to them it's automatically correlated to being a left wing Connie lunatic etc.
Yeah, apologies, I meant that as something like "Americans would do well to understand that 'liberal' doesn't mean left."Oh yeah I get that.

No problem, and thanks for the further explanation. 👍Yeah, apologies, I meant that as something like "Americans would do well to understand that 'liberal' doesn't mean left."
She looks like she got fined for parking her Range Rover in a bike lane or on the footpath.Another election loss for the Liberal Party with the NSW state election going the way of Labor and another amazing pic of Sky News anchor Peta Credlin with a face like thunder as the result is called.

Love Barry and Dame Edna.Sad news on Barry Humphries dying. Will be remembered internationally for Edna Everage but Les Patterson was brilliant as well.
Another astonishingly popular drag act that hasn't been a problem for over 50 years.
She was big enough that everyone in the 90s knew her and would recognize "hello possums!"Love Barry and Dame Edna.
Was Edna as popular in the Land Down Under as she was in the UK?
Its annoying because this scream inevitable from both sides yet Labor is going to take full blame which means we just ping pong back to Liberal. Both sides will be for this for sure and this to make sure up and coming voters dont get influenced by media out of their control to preference third parties or independants because unlike America it isn't a "wasted vote".So cool, this proposed social media ban for under 16s by the Albanese Government could/will also include Youtube? Yeah, we're definitely following America's lead next year when Mr Potato Head gets in. What is it with leftist (I'm using that term very loosely) parties self sabotaging themselves to lose elections?
Children under 16 to be banned from social media under government's proposed changes
Labor has backed setting the social media minimum age cut-off at 16 years old, with legislation set to be introduced this month.www.abc.net.au
Restricting YouTube is a VERY bad idea. It's a legitimate learning tool!So cool, this proposed social media ban for under 16s by the Albanese Government could/will also include Youtube? Oh 100%. This ban isn't about protecting kids at all. It's all about controlling what news and info they see. Both sides will be for this for sure and this to make sure up and coming voters dont get influenced by media out of their control
YouTube already shows Sky News Australia on the homepage when you're not signed in.Labor’s gonnaloveregret it when the only source of media the kids see is the Murdoch owned papers and TV channels.
