Well, I've discovered an irritating glitch - if you buy certain parts that have alternate options, i.e. aero kit, carbon hoods (painted vs bare), and unequip or swap them, they are lost for good! I first discovered this when I put on the aero kit for my F430, decided I didn't like it, and took it off. Then, to my dismay, realized that I had to repurchase it if I changed my mind again.

Same thing with the carbon hoods - I bought the painted version first, then decided that I wanted to see how the carbon one looked. So, I bought it as well, and when I realized that I liked the painted one better, it was just like the aero kit - LOST! WTF? This needs to get patched ASAP, because that's not cool.

Did you check under the "items" bar. Thats where things go if you don't install them immediately.

Nothing there except paint items, horns (how stupid), and unclaimed car tickets. Oh, polyphony...

EDIT: Well, go ahead and add wheels to the list of things you lose if you change them. :grumpy:

Yeah, but the stuff that I mentioned gets lost even if you DO install after purchase. Thankfully, if you install immediately, you don't lose tires. I run different compounds on the front and rear of a lot of my cars, so this would really piss me off if it were affected by this glitch. Hopefully, this gets patched in the next update, because this is BS.

Hey, just wanted to bump this to keep it fresh, because if this just gets burried in the trash, the chances of PD putting out a patch to fix it becomes an unlikely reality...

I am pretty sure if you don't install a part you just bought it gets sent to the items folder. You go to that folder and click on the item ticket and it'll ask if you want to install it to your current car.
