Looks like Porsche is a CAR PACK and not an expansion....

Very interesting.

Edit: The pack cannot be bought at the moment (PC). I guess the update went live before the store was ready.

Well, the plot has just thickened... If Porsches won't be the expansion, then what will be? Obviously, the changes PG and T10 made to make this pack "distinct" are unlock requirements, as cars like the 918 are bound to be Forzathon prizes (a la Sesto Elemento) and cars like the 356A future Barn Finds.

I also find the lack of more oddball Porsches (i.e. 944 and the 996 911) a bit disappointing. Seems the approach here is "Porsche's Best Hits" moreso than a varied list. What cars in this list are new to the Forza franchise? I know the Panamera is (as it is a 2017 model), but I don't see many more newcomers...

The 2016 Cayman GT4, 2017 Panamera and 2016 911 GT3 RS are all new to franchise.

Good to see that it's not going to be just the FM6 carryovers since there'll be welcome new additions.

Now it puts into question as to what the second expansion is going to be. Sydney? Melbourne with Albert Park? Maybe New Zealand?

I speculated a few pages back it could be a Hoonigan themed expansion.

Could be lots of different things. We've gotten 1000 Club, Fast & Furious and Rally in the past. I'm personally hoping for something new & original but I guess we'll see.

All we know is we'll be getting news on it this month.

As cool as that would be, I feel like there is a license restriction on the use of the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. And to model another city would be an effort I can't imagine them doing.

I'd guess Tasmania for some Targa Tasmania stuff.
 
I think I prefer the smaller pack with a good selection of Porsches (especially ones that aren't carryover from previous Porsche packs) rather than having them be in their own expansion. Which also intrigues me more as to what the actual expansion will be.
 
With this selection being rather small, I suppose there will be more than one Porsche pack. Thank god it's not an expansion.

So were a lot of other Porsches. Just because they're in the dev build doesn't mean they'll ever see the light of day. Though I'd wager a few of those 9 Porsches left over will be drip fed to us over the coming months as a part of Forzathon (maybe more Barn Finds and Forza Hub exclusives as well) just like the extra 5 Porsches will be (that aren't apart of the 7 in the car pack)
 
I knew it! I knew that the Porsche pack would just be a car pack, yet nearly everyone I talked to doubted it.
