Couch?
It’s right here.
Where?
Here. It stays here.
I make sure.

Note: this is NOT my cat. It's one of the neighbors'. I've seen it around my backyard a handful of times. And the day I worked from last week, it was chilling on my deck. I made the mistake of waving at it, prompting it to come up to the door and stand there waiting for me to open up.

Great, now you now have another mouth to feed.

I have neighbor cats that come over all the time! First time I saw this beauty, she didn't have a collar, and I resolved that she was going to be my cat if she didn't belong to the neighbor across the street, who also had a tuxedo that comes over for a snack quite often. (Turns out she does belong to the same neighbor across the street.)

And the both of them, a little after-snack relaxing and grooming

This is Pavlov, we got him about 6 months ago. He and 'my' cat Link get along pretty well actually, or at least tolerate each other

He is a velcro dog for sure, you gotta peel him off you

Those eyes can melt cat food cans.

Clothes on pets. My pet peeve, lol.
It wouldn’t be if your Doggo rolled in fox doo all the time

Also it’s getting dark now in the park, even around 7:30ish so being able to see him helps.

He only wears it out in the winter / dark walks. Otherwise he’s in his birthday suit.

I do understand it can be beneficial in some circumstances.

Seeing dogs with clothes here in our climate makes me feel sick. Most dogs need shaving when it’s 30+° outside.

I’ve found a home for young Ginger who’s been lodging for the past year or so. He’s very territorial and bullies my Tan (top of pic). He’s going to a good home of a family friend where he’ll get the love he needs, and more importantly, access to the house.

Athena, a girl, (Athena, or Athene, In ancient Greek religion, the goddess of war, handicraft, and wisdom and the patroness of Athens) was a rescue my friend got, with a life expectancy of maybe six months according to a vet, cancer in her girl parts, and that was two years and a couple months ago. I grew up with dogs, but she’s the first one that I really like. And true to her name, goddess of war. No squirrels. No skunks. No rabbits. Death in the yard. And no delivery trucks!

Cracks me up. And she likes me.
