Am I the only one that makes realistic hybrids.
Sure I make cars that have outrageous amounts of power, and crazy amounts of downforce...but that gets boring. I make cars that can actually be made in real life. If I'm moding a car, I even go around on the internet and look for real parts for that car. Just so I know that what I want to do, can be done. I also make future models that I think would be cool.
:vauxhall:
For example, I just finished making a Vauxhall VX320, or Opel Speedster 3.2. I used the Vauxhall body/chassis, a Honda 3.2 litre V6 with 218bhp@6000rpm. If you go to Carfolio.com, and find an Opel with the 2000MY Opel 3.2L V6, you will find that it has 218bhp@6000rpm. I was thinking of devising some sort of VVT system for it, that would increase it's power to about 225 or 230. Anyway, that's what I do. It's lots of fun, and I'm really surprised that no-one else does it.
Next I'm going to make an SCCA Spec Miata club racer. It's going to be Sparkle Green Metallic, with the cheapo' Mazda steel rims, an SCCA legal roll-bar, a Recaro SPG carbon fiber racing seat, and a Takata 6-point racing harness. This with a somewhat better engine. Oh yeah, and you will be able to see all of the modifications. Everything from special edition chrome side mirrors, to the carbon fiber seat and bright green Takata belts. If anyone wants it just say so and I'll post it up when I'm done, probably tommorow at around this time.
